More aptly names Southern Indiana Frowns. We reported new insurance for 2024 and were told that, while normally not accepted, they would grandfather us in since we were already a patient of theirs. Then, the day before our appointment, they called to say that, just kidding, they won't accept that insurance after all. I said they already told us they would, and she said they changed their mind. It also made no sense to me, as we had had Dentaquest through Caresource, and now we had Dentaquest through HiP. Why would they accept one and not the other?Prior to this, I had another poor experience with them when making our first appointment there. They left a message on a Friday afternoon, saying we had to call back within 24 hours to confirm our appointment. Well, we I called back, they were closed and were closed all weekend, so I was unable to confirm. I called first thing Monday morning and they said it was too late and we'd have to reschedule. I explained the situation and fortunately they did allow us to keep the appointment.Clearly they are a disorganized and poorly managed facility.

This was my first visit to this dentist office and it was amazing! Everyone I encountered was great! Scheduling was a breeze, my husband was a new patient as well and he was able to get in within a few weeks of us calling. My dental hygienist was amazing and so knowledgeable. She made my time at the dentist office (which is usually not fun) very much enjoyable and took her time with me. She answered all my questions and was very informative about how I should change my routine. I absolutely loved her and hope to see her at my next visit. The dentist himself was such a great guy. He was funny, nice, and my husband loved him as well. I felt like I was really taken care of there. I’m so glad we found Southern Indiana Smiles and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist.-Amy and Dakota Kizer
