first this seemed like a good place. However at the front desk a real heavy set lady with long dark hair ( Caucasian/ Latina?) receptionist? actually discussed out loud my treatment plan though I was only making a payment. This is a violation of HIPPA, and I was disturbed by it, but figured I would inform the dentist upon my next scheduled appointment.On my scheduled appointment my son had an allergic reaction and when I went to reschedule the dentist appointment I was informed I will be charged a $75 fee, though on patient documentation it says $50, and that I could not reschedule the appointment, until I paid $75. I then asked for a refund for requested services as I had prepaid bc I do not have insurance, and now I’ve been placed on numerous holds with no resolution or assistance. 🤦‍♀️This place is refusing to refund me though I prepaid for services I did not and have not received!!!! Horrible experience!!!!!

Had my first appointment here today and I have no critiques. Typically I have severe dental anxiety, and while today was no exception, it was the best experience I've had at the dentist. Ever.Everyone from the DA, front office and Dr. made me feel comfortable and informed. No issue whatsoever scheduling my next appointments and cannot recommend this offrie enough!

This place might be decent for routine procedures like cleanings, fillings, and cosmetics, but the gaps are apparent when you need specialized care.I called about pain in a molar that prevented me from chewing on that side of my mouth and, to their credit, was seen immediately. They took basic X-rays that were inconclusive and initially decided to use the process of elimination instead of the technology they have to confirm the problem, knowing I'm in pain and they risk it becoming worse if their guess is wrong. The pain grew worse by the day. I was offered antibiotics, which I declined, and later found out weren't necessary. Ultimately, it took over a week for them to confirm the problem and refer me to a specialist, despite my explicit requests for a referral. Even then, the poor quality of the CT scan disguised the severity of the issue. After seeing the specialist, I called Smiles of Eastlake to pursue one of the courses of action that was discussed with me, only to discover my chart had not been updated. The receptionist was not able to help me. Yes, they were able to see me relatively quickly, but those visits weren't productive.I was able to find better care elsewhere.
