I have been to the office 3-4 times and have always had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Dr. Ki Hoon Lee and his assistant/technician Patsy are very knowledgeable and prioritize good care and patient understanding of the treatment above all else. After they finish, they check their work - they check the fit of my bite guard, checked my bite after fillings, and made adjustments until it felt right. Even the office manager, Christina, goes above and beyond. There was an issue with billing, and she was willing to work with me and my insurance to get care covered (too often, office managers/assistants hand you a bill and say something to the effect of “figure it out with your insurance.”Not here!) Costs are explained up front, and they give you options, including payment plans, and thoroughly explain it. I did not feel pressured to get treatment done there after the exam (or even that same day) and they said I could think about it. I originally went in for an exam, and hadn’t been to a dentist in a few years because I did not have dental insurance. When Dr. Lee found problems, he explained them to me in an understandable and evidence-based way: he explained the different coloration on the x-ray, showed me a 3-D colormap scan of my teeth and told me things to keep an eye on vs. more urgent issues and the treatment options. Great, comprehensive, accessible medical care like this office gives their patients is hard to find. I highly recommend them!

(IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW) Everyone was so friendly. Super high-tech, avoided all the worst parts of a dentist trip (taking molds with that gross foam stuff, etc.) thanks to the high-tech alternatives. Had TONS of flavors for the polish, etc. (definitely recommend the melon flavor) Best dentist experience of my life!UPDATE: I came back for another cleaning and had an unfortunate hiccup with the BrightSmile insurance I had enrolled in about six month before. They were SO KIND about the mishap and went out of their way to try and help resolve the issue. When we were not able to get it cleared up (insurance claimed I was not in their system despite my having proof that I had paid their 1-year premium only six months before) they helped me optimize the number of services I was getting that day so that I could still get my teeth cleaned and have my appointment without having to pay too much out of pocket. I deeply appreciated how much advice and assistance they provided for something completely unrelated to their services. They could have easily stated that my insurance wasn't working and I needed to pay out of pocket and left it at that, but they took the time to call the Careington/BrightSmile for me and try to find my coverage as well as help reduce the out-of-pocket cost for my appointment that day. They also confirmed that they would gladly refund what I paid out of pocket once the insurance issue was covered and they were able to get the appointment covered by the insurance. Truly an example of an office that cares about you and your health, rather than how much money they can get out of your needs. There are no words for how much I love this dental office and its staff.

Just had my first dentist appointment on campus, and it was so great. Every single one of the staff members were patient and helpful during my time here. Any questions I had were answered with kindness and they made sure that I knew exactly what I needed to do in the future in order to achieve my best smile! Loved my experience here, it was the perfect mix of convenience and quality.
