I’ve been a patient of Dr An’s since they opened and have also visited Cornerstone Dental in Kirkland. They are an excellent choice for routine dental care and complex procedures, and they have the kindest staff who genuinely cares about their patients. But where they really stand out is when you have a dental emergency. They will have your back 200%, will reach out after hours and weekends, and their first priority is getting their patient through the experience and feeling well again. They’re the best.

After seeing my prior dentist for several years, I was growing increasingly frustrated with his dismissive attitude towards my concerns over the crown he had installed (“looks perfect!”) as well as jaw stiffness, popping, and soreness (“I’m in pain every day, kid, you have nice teeth, don’t worry about it”). At my FIRST visit with Cornerstone, Dr. Choi inspected my crown, did indeed find small open margins, and discussed possible outcomes with me. He palpated my jaw and ran me through an evaluation of the joint, confirming possible early stage TMD and giving me an explanation of the possible progressive outcomes for that issue as well. I left with not only super clean teeth but with 1) much more complete knowledge of my issues, 2) a complete understanding of how those issues might play out, and 3) confidence that those issues could be addressed in the future as they progress. Three things I had not received from any dentist previously. This is a pretty specific scenario. What can you expect here in a more general sense? A super thorough, energetic cleaning that considers your comfort—maybe a little too much, I felt very pampered :P A thorough, exhaustive exam, with specific issues explained to you like you’re an adult, not a little kid (thank you!). And super helpful reception staff who will patiently help you find their suite, if, like me, you’ve never been inside One Rainier Square before (they’re on the 8th floor).
