Collins and Greer Orthodontics

I have had a fantastic experience with my sons orthodontic treatment. The staff is friendly and professional, and the orthodontists are knowledgeable and attentive to every detail. The treatment itself has been very effective, and I'm thrilled with the results so far. I also love how the doctors support FFA, first responders, and Isaiah House 117 amongst other important organizations.

Complete TRUTH. This is a hard review for me to write, because I really like and appreciate most of their staff, and Dr. Collins! I originally came to Collins and Greer to have Dr. Collins put braces on my son. He was the doctor we initially saw, he was the one we thought we were hiring for the job. Then after a month, when it came time for my son to get his braces, we suddenly were switched over to Dr. Preston Greer and his wife without any communication at all.Here's when things went wrong. Dr. Preston Greer took off my son's braces before his #31 molar had a chance to fully surface. I do not have one x-ray that shows otherwise. However, he, Dr. Preston Greer decided it was time regardless of his molar not making contact with the tooth above. I will attach the scanned in x-rays to prove this, soon.NOW, we are in the process of fixing this situation and Dr. Greer put braces back on, in the back only, of my son's teeth, which is fine. However, the ONLY person I communicate with is his nurse Michelle. Although, she is very sweet, and kind, she is not the doctor, and not the one we want to ask questions to. However Dr. Greer refused to call me because according to Michelle he was too busy. Not until I sent a long email about how unacceptable it was that he could not make a 5-minute phone call to a parent. Instead he wanted me to take time off from my job to sit down face to face and talk for 5 minutes.Finally, I got my short phone call with Dr. Greer that was somewhat pleasant, and he answered my questions after several days of efforts. However, when it came to concluding the conversation, he sounded annoyed that he had to even talk to me. It was in the tone of his voice when he said goodbye. I guess it is just us he doesn't like.Dr. Collins would have NEVER treated us this way and he would have never let that molar stay unaligned and taken off my son's braces. If it wasn't for Dr. Collins and his long-time staff I would give Dr. Preston Greer, 1 star for how he has treated us as people and a patient.
