I will NOT be returning to this dentist. I had an appointment at 8am and was 3 minutes late. I received an extremely passive aggressive text from the office with no context (no clue who was texting me) telling me that they “showed up early for me.” The hygienist was VERY rough even after I told her I had bad dental anxiety. She poked around in my gums for nearly an hour before the dentist came in. He put his hands in my mouth without asking or prompting and again was rough. He only looked at my teeth for two minutes before telling me I needed an over 800 dollar crown on an old root canal that I haven’t had problems with for over 10 years. STAY AWAY!!

The people here are so nice and seem genuinely interested in their patients. Wayyyy better than compassionate dental care...Edit: I still like Dr. Audrey and the new dentists in the practice. However, her non clinical staff particularly the front desk is atrocious. They kept billing me for a cleaning and I kept giving them my MetLife. They said it was denied multiple times. But they just ended up not entering the right information. When I came in to submit the claim manually myself, the front desk (black girl - just to describe her since there are no other visible POC in the front) would not let me see the billing ladies. I waited patiently and after a long wait asked for an ETA just bc I had another appt. The girl rudely kept saying she doesn't know like she is avoiding me and my question. Then she says give it a couple hours. She was acting like she couldn't be bothered. I'm voicing my frustration and no one was helping and as soon as other pts are walking in, the billing comes and ask me to come in the back. Seriously girl that's what I've been asking for from the beginning. It's outrageous. I've been giving them 5 stars every single time they ask to give them a testimony. But forget it. I'm leaving this place. Not worth the headaches the non clinical staff gives you. If you have metlife just find a different office who knows how to enter the data.

They are AWESOME!! Dr. Phan is so patient and explained everything he was doing. Shaton at the front desk was so nice and welcoming, always ready to check you in, and make you feel at home, even if you’re scared. Carlos is also amazing, doing a great job with explaining how cleanings work. Ill be going here for everything from now on for sure.

I originally went to Algonquin Smiles for a second opinion on extensive dental work. I did not feel comfortable with another local dental office I first went to. I felt like I was buying a used car and negotiating price. When I met with Dr. Audrey, I was pleasantly surprised. She laid out a new dental plan which included extensive dental work. She was willing to work with me with all the additional costs beyond dental insurance. As I’ve been seeing Dr. Audrey for over a year and a half now I am kind of a “frequent flyer” as far as office visits. I find Dr. Audrey and her staff to be very professional, yet friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Algonquin Smiles.Update - 9/19/2023I have now completed a three year journey with Dr. Audrey. If I could give more than five stars, I would! As I previously posted, I needed extensive dental work. There were very few teeth in my mouth that did not require restoration.Dr. Audrey painstakingly laid out corrective action for my restoration. Which included extensive dental work and Invisalign braces.I am very happy to report that my smile now looks much better than it did prior to the deterioration of my teeth.I have never felt more comfortable going to a dentist than I do going to see Dr. Audrey and her staff. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Algonquin Smiles.

I was given a written quote for 2 crowns. I had used up all my dental insurance benefits for the year, and had to pay out of pocket. I was given a written quote showing the insurance rate, and told that they would honor the insurance rate. They honored the written price on the first crown, but on the second crown I was told that since they had to "write off" $513.00 on the first crown that "corporate" would not honor the quoted price on the second one. I tried to reason with the office manager, but got nowhere. Had to pay an additional $513.00 out of pocket. Will not be going back to this practice.

First time that a dentist couldn't get me numb. This required sending me to a specialist. Not a good experience to come back 3 times and be told we can't help you when you're in pain.Outside of that there's always a bill afterwards cause their estimates are off. So i get done work done and they say the cost is such and such but then a few weeks later they say the insurance paid this much so now you owe us a whole bunch more.

My dentist is Dr. Audrey. Since going to her, I have never felt more comfortable, confident and relaxed. She is an amazing person, warm, friendly and very professional. The entire staff is like a family welcoming me into their midst. I have never, in 74 years, found a dental practice this wonderful. I have nothing but high praise for this practice!

It was an unexpected visit but very pleasant.Everyone was in the office was friendly and very helpful. The procedure was quick and painless which I appreciated. The Dr was very informative and was able to take care of everything quickly. I've been to many dentist who were non caring and did a poor job but the Dr explained everything and what to expect. Very pleased with the results ,the office staff and especially the Dr.

Yesterday I went in the early afternoon to Dr. Sims with a sensitive tooth. It was determined that it needed a crown. She made the time at 5 o’clock to fix that crown and she and the assistant stayed late to make sure that I had a beautiful temporary.I highly recommend Dr. Sims and her excellent staff. She cares about her work and cares about her patients.

I am not satisfied with their pricing and they try to grab maximum money from you. I went to my dental checkup few months ago and i was told deep cleaning and fillings on both side are needed(explanation was good). They completed my deep cleaning on two separate appointments which is good. They scheduled my two fillings and on my last filling they did half and they told me my cavity is big, now i need a crown…my question is- as a experienced medical professional, don’t you know that you should have start my filling on big cavity instead of small cavity or suggest me to book appointments back to back to avoid crown ? I could have avoided expensive crown treatment if you either started my big cavity filling first or you could have just book my appointments back to back….i should have went to different facility and get all treatments back to back. Like isaid, i have no issues with my treatment, my issue is with pricing….for one visit, initially i charged with full price, then i had to ask how much my insurance covers, then they said sorry these rates are not updated blah blah and gave me less bill…so all i could say is, there is no transparent pricing
