I had an accident that will result in extensive dental follow up and procedures. Dr Arnold got me in immediately and put together a game plan. The most impressive thing was how much time the doctor and his friendly staff took to address all my questions and fears. I really appreciate that personal interest in treating the person as well as the teeth.

This is constructive feedback, and I sincerely hope that it is taken seriously. I regret to express my disappointment with the experience I had with Dr. Arnold. During my visit to Dr. Arnold, I sought assistance with a veneer that had come off. Although the initial veneer was not his work and was done in another state, Dr. Arnold's staff assured me that he could provide a new veneer. However, I was surprised by the lack of transparency regarding the procedure. Dr. Arnold proceeded to shave down my healthy tooth without informing me, compromising its structural integrity. Subsequently, my tooth became highly sensitive and painful, leading me to seek a second and third opinion from other dentists. This lead me to an Endodontist, who confirmed I needed a root canal on my front tooth was a result of the excessive shaving done by Dr. Arnold, which exposed the pulp.The lack of transparency and care in explaining the implications of the procedure left me deeply saddened and more financially and emotionally devastated. While Dr. Arnold attempted to rectify the situation by offering a redo, this would have exacerbated the issue further, and I chose not to pursue additional dental work with him. I would advise anyone considering Dr. Arnold for cosmetic procedures to come prepared with questions and concerns, ensuring clarity and his expertise beforehand.For those seeking cosmetic dental procedures, I recommend seeking out a qualified AACD Accredited Member or Accredited Fellow Member who has undergone comprehensive credentialing and demonstrated exceptional skills in cosmetic dentistry. These professionals are renowned for their expertise globally, unlike Dr. Arnold, who may not have received training in this manner. I encourage Dr. Arnold to consider pursuing a more robust and advanced cosmetic training to prevent future patients from experiencing dental trauma similar to my own.

I've just changed dentists to Altamonte Smiles and couldnt be happier. I had been going to a very expensive dentist who I thought was truly Excellent, but Dr Arnold is even better and friendlier on the wallet, too. I had to make a change because of my insurance, and I am SO glad!I'm 76 and well educated. I know enough about dentistry to know when someone is doing a good job. Altamonte Smiles is well named.The office seems to be fairly new and VERY "hi-tech". Just what you want in a dentist - all the latest appliances and techniques which make what you need done both quick and absolutely painless.

I want to say how impressed I am by Dr. Arnold and his entire staff. I brought my 2 children in who are both autistic with sensory disorders and from the start everyone was so kind and so gentle with the kids. My daughter usually needs to be sedated even to take blood and they were so awesome with her that she sat there and was able to get her teeth cleaned and checked and was so happy after. Dr. Arnold was extremly gentle with both children and talked to them and even counted their teeth with them inclduinging them each step of the way. Kudos to this Dentist and his entire staff! I would recommend 100% to anyone especially people that have children with disabilties

I just want to say when it comes to the dentist, I’m probably the WORST patient. Not only am I petrified, but I have several issues. Dr Arnold and his team made me feel normal and gave me the 5 star treatment every single time I was in the office. After several trials and tribulations, my implant is in and it’s perfect. Thank you Dr Arnold, Louisa and Leann. You all rock!

I visited Altamonte Smiles due to a dental emergency. I was in extreme pain and when I called I spoke to Luisa she was great explaining how the insurance works and what my options were, a big plus is I was able to text most of my information to the office which is extremely time saving. I was thrilled when she said I could be seen that same day.The office was cozy and made me feel at ease...which was great because I am a big chicken when it comes to dental procedures. The hygienist was extremely gentle and Dr. Jay Arnold is amazing...he explained everything in detail and listened to my concerns. I had 2 extractions due to an abscess and I felt no pain or discomfort during the procedure. I was so grateful, everyone in this office was super nice and the dentist is amazing..I am definitely making this my permanent dentist!!!

Dr Arnold and his staff are absolutely wonderful. When they took over the practice from Dr Spencer I was scared to death. I'd been a patient of Dr Spencer's since 1987 and thought he was the best. To my surprise, Dr Arnold and his staff are just as professional, knowledgeable, caring, and just down right nice as he was. Dr Arnold is up to date on the latest dental practices and always makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. Thank you all for being so wonderful, I am truly blessed to have you in my life.

Dr. Arnold and his staff are exceptional. It’s truly a family feel with everyone there and they truly have the patients best interest at heart. I trust his opinions as they are honest and accurate. He has always looked at the best and most cost effective methods of treating both my wife and myself. I could go to a dentist in my network and much closer but I value this office too much.

I love Altamonte Smiles so much, they’re my dentist for life! I always recommend them to everybody looking for a dentist. They treat you like family here, with such a caring staff and Dr. Jay is the best! Making appointments or asking questions about your dental care is a breeze with their text line, which is an added bonus! The dental hygienist is sooo sweet and gentle on your teeth and gets your pearly whites shining! They’ve done an amazing job at taking care of my boyfriends cavities and wisdom teeth removal, and were very caring and checked in on his healing progress. Dr. Jay recently helped me uncover the reason for my persistent jaw pain as well, which I would’ve never been able to figure out on my own. I literally look forward to my dental cleaning appointments, I always joke that it’s relaxing like getting a facial lol. Can’t recommend Altamonte Smiles enough!

My husband visited this office for over 17 years before moving to Miami. When we leave in Miami we went to 2 dentists for an emergency on one of my husband’s teeth. Both dentists wanted to pull out his tooth. Since we had to move back to Orlando, my husband schedule an appointment with Dr. Jay. Dr. Jay save his tooth and addressed other matters in my husband’s teeth that needed help. All done with ethics and with a genuine sense of humanity and empathy. Dr. Jay does amazing work. You do not feel they are financially taking advantage of you either from the staff or from the doctor. Because of this, I visited Dr. Jay’s office, just to have the same experience as my husband. Our commute to his office is about 45 minutes but is worth it. Dr. Jay and his team take the time to explain everything clearly. The staff is knowledgeable and kind and they make you feel like a superstar in a comfortable, almost family, but very professional environment. The office is clean and pleasant and they have the latest technology. Most importantly, Dr. Jay makes you feel very comfortable and have a very soft hand when working in your mouth. I can’t say more about my wonderful experience, but it was superb!
