Cadey is a wonderful hygienist who takes such great care of my kids at every visit. She is patient, gentle, compassionate, and takes extra time to educate them on how they can best care for their teeth. Dr. Briggs regularly brings a smile to our faces with his jovial and fun-loving nature, while also being very professional and trustworthy.

Fabulous! Everyone is kind, considerate, and very professional. I have been a patient here, at Athens Smiles, for a number of years and recommend them to everyone!Every staff member is great at their job and I have not had any pain while under their care! They listen to you and give you all possible options to take care of your issues. This is the best dental team that I have used in the last 15 years! I highly recommend them!

Dr Briggs is so nice. He filled two teeth and I have no pain. His personality is professional,yet, humorous!! I will say he is the best dentist I have ever had. His assistant(I don't remember her name but, she is wearing a boot for a foot problem) she was so sweet and made me feel good by talking with me and her personality made me feel like I was in good hands. Dr Briggs & Cadey Gilbert are the best!

Update: Updating my previous review because yesterday I had four teeth worked on in the same sitting. We went for a one-and-done type experience, with Nitrous Oxide and mild sedation, because I get so uptight in the dental chair. I still say dental assistants there are tops, the front office workers are superb, and I'm "upping" my review of Dr. Briggs because he was just SO GREAT! My veins are "stringy" and it wasn't easy to set up for sedation, but he got it done so my experience would be easier (and I'm sure with an easier patient, HIS life is easier too LOL). Every person at Athens Smiles has done their job very well, WITH A SMILE, and truly made me feel valued as a person.Previous: I have been to Athens Smiles twice now. Each time I had a different dental assistant. And each time the dental assistant was SO GREAT at alleviating my dental anxiety! The assistants are the people you see, the ones who spend the most time with the patient, and they play such a huge role in whether the experience is positive or negative. So kudos to Athens Smiles for hiring and training well! Also, Dr. Briggs was attentive and explained things very well. He did seem a bit rushed the first visit, but earned back the 5th star for this review by the way he took time to answer all my questions and explain the ins and outs of my options. I have not had a procedure yet. I plan to update this review after I actually have some work done.

My former dentist no longer took my insurance, so I had to find a new one. It must have been a blessing in disguise. I found Dr. Rojas and Athens Smiles on my insurance website. I made an appointment for an initial checkup and cleaning. The whole experience was great. I have never had such a thorough checkup. While I was there, it was discovered that I had a broken tooth. A crown was recommended. I agreed and scheduled it. At that appointment, Allie and Dr. Rojas were very nice, caring, and professional. They made you feel comfortable and explained everything that was being or going to be done. I have always dreaded going to the dentist, not anymore! All of the employees I had contact with friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend Athens Smiles.

Dr. Briggs and his staff were wonderful during the time I had my braces. From the front desk personnel, check out personnel to Dr. Briggs ortho techs the care was excellent. I was more than happy to drive from Tyler to Athens once a month for adjustments. My wait was always very short, and I was always greeted upon walking in by name. The office is spotless. I love my new smile and am extremely happy with the orthodontic care I received at Athens Smiles!

My first visit was great. I haven’t gone to the dentist very often in my life and they took time to explain everything they were doing and treatment options as well. Denise was so nice and thoughtful and a great hygienist. Dr Gomez was amazing as well. Listened to my concerns and was very comforting and helpful. Will be continuing my care here.

Athens Smile is the best!!! First their front line staff is very professional and welcoming. That makes a huge difference when the office and personnel are inviting. Denise, my hygienist, is very thorough when cleaning my teeth and helps me focus on areas that might need some extra attention. Most people dread going to the dentist…you will not feel that way here with Dr. Briggs and his staff.

My 16 year old needed a lot of dental work after years of braces. The pediatric dentist referred him to an adult dentist for dental work. Erica Gurley and Dr. Rojas made him feel very comfortable during the process and even said he liked how they took care of him compared to his years going to the pediatric dentist. He had been very self conscious of chipping on the surface of his top teeth, and Dr. Rojas matched the fillings beautifully! Dr. Rojas went above and beyond our expectations and was able to get his entire top teeth fixed in one sitting.

Athens Smiles always has a cheerful greeting to match their namewhen entering the office.Every one is professional and ready to help. Dr.Briggs has been mydentist for a number of years and explains any necessary procedurethat I might need. Cleaning is expertly done with no pain. Great experienceat Athens Smiles.
