Austin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dental surgery always conjures up an image of misery. I had a very positive experience. The team was thoughtful and questioned my comfort every few minutes. They had an agenda to get the job done, but were in no hurry and would remove the open mouth wedge frequently without my asking to ensure I was never uncomfortable. I was fully informed of expectations from the surgery and felt like they prioritized me the entire appointment time. I absolutely recommend this team of surgeons and assistants!

I am a big chicken at the dentist. I was very nervous about having a tooth removed that I had issues with for the past 11 years. Dr. Voorhees assured me he could give me meds to make sure I was totally "out" while he worked in my mouth. Whatever was in the IV did put me "out." I don't remember anything about what took place during the procedure. When I woke up, the tooth was gone. I was given clear instructions on how to take care of gum until it was totally healed. I received follow up calls to make sure I was doing okay and not experiencing any problems. I highly recommend Dr. Voorhees as an oral surgeon.

Great! 10/10Never had surgery before and they were so kind and communicative, even after the procedure they gave me a call to check on me. I was having some trouble the next day and they brought me right in and checked on me teeth to make sure everything was going alright. Can't brag enough about how amazing Austin Oral Surgery was

I normally don’t write review, but I really wanted to give 10 stars ⭐️ to this office. The staffs here were so nice , and doctor Thomas Weill is above and beyond perfect. He is the only surgeon that I don’t need to take pain medication, every time after procedure.He is a super surgeon , and I Highly recommended.Thanks to dr. Thomas Weil and his assistances

Ok rude and brisque first impression due to 1 st clerical staff 2nd was congenial and polite and when I tried to speak w office mgr to complain about first person I spoke w. I was on and off hold for 30 min. I'm pretty sure no matter how good the oral surgeon is, not worth this run around!!! Btw, never got to file my complaint so this the review

My niece had all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed. She was extremely nervous about the procedure and being put under. The entire staff was so nice and always answered all questions and made her feel very comfortable. Dr. Kern was amazing and answered any questions or concerns we had regarding post-op. Even ones like can she spit now? Not sure what happened to cause some negative reviews but they are amazing and have the best bedside manner.I would highly recommend.

Top notch surgeon and professional staff you will ever find..Dr. Weil is a renowned oral surgeon with kind heart. very impressive bedside manners and clear instructions during procedure.I am glad I chose him as my oral surgeon.He followed up with me to ensure I was okay.God bless him and his excellent medical staff.Mr. Shah

I gotta say, if you need a oral surgeon Dr Weil is the very best!!! I have had to see him twice and each time the care was excellent, his staff is amazing and extremely helpful and I had minimal to no pain during and after my procedures. His work is impeccable and he is a really great guy. If you need a oral and Maxillofacial surgeon please go see Dr Weil and his staff they are the very best!! Tricia Duffee

I was in severe pain from wisdom teeth growing into my back molars. My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon (not Austin Oral) they couldn’t get me in for a consultation until a MONTH later. Finally after calling multiple Oral Surgeons I got in touch with Austin Oral Surgery and I explained to them the pain I was in, that day they made me a consultation, took X-rays, and the following day at 9am I was in surgery with Dr. Kern. The nurse staff was excellent, Dr. Kern’s daughter even scrubbed into the surgery (how cool is that)! I can’t thank y’all enough!-Logan

I desperately needed a tooth pulled and I was turned away from 2 dentists. I called Austin oral surgery and they told me to come up there as soon as I called. They were working a half day but they said they could squeeze me in between appointments. They all stayed late so they could perform the surgery and get my tooth taken out same day and I’m extremely grateful. I’ve had 3 teeth pulled prior to this and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. Absolutely 0 pain was involved, very relaxing, very thorough, explained everything they were going to do and it was very inexpensive! 100% if I have to get another tooth pulled I will use them!
