Not knowing what to expect can be daunting and frightening at the same time. When I walked in I didn’t get dentist office vibes however. The warm smiles and welcome soothed the frightened nerves and the immediate diagnosis of what 12 other dentist weren’t able to see took my pensive nature away. They know what they are doing, their associates and the chemistry makes it feel like a team who knows you. They knew my record before I came in and were ready for me. Who does that anymore? This is how you change the narrative on mouth care. I am not sure if we are going to be able to fix me, but they gave me hope. That’s worth an extra ⭐️

Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Dr Verrett was extremely professional and eased my anxiety about the upcoming gum graft. Would refer to anyone!Fast forward to after the procedure. Bedside manner was gone. I felt more like I was on his assembly line and he was just moving the cattle along. Still did a good job but the being friendly was gone. In the doctors part. Officer staff still amazing!

Being in dentistry myself, my expectations are very high when it comes to healthcare. Dr. Verrett and his team are exceptional at what they do. The attention to care was excellent, from the first call with Sarah, the initial appt, surgery, and the final follow up appts. I appreciated being seen on time, the office being clean, calm, it is evident that they focus on one patient at a time, and the doctor always asking if I needed anything else. If you are looking for a gum specialist, look no further! Thank you to this team for their care!

I waited until about Thanksgiving to start calling periodontists. This obviously resulted in many offices telling me they did not have availability for a consult and a surgery. I had money in an FSA account I needed to use before the end of the year. The office called me back quickly with a consult appointment and got me in for surgery that same week! Dr Andrew Verrett did a great job explaining what the issue was and what my options were during the consult. Sarah also did a great job walking me through the payment options, pre-appointment instructions, and post-appointment instructions. Unfortunately we couldn’t schedule a follow up appointment within the usual two week timeframe, but they let me know that if I was having any problems they would open up an appointment for me the next week (the day before they closed for the holidays). Truly speaks volumes about this office! I only wish they were in network.

I have been going to Austin Periodontal Associates since 2008...that's 15 years. I've had all 4 quadrants of gum area worked on. My oral health has improved so much since then. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. In the last couple of years, my insurance no longer covers Austin Perio, so I am now "out of network". However, I go anyway and pay out of pocket because I feel like the quality of care that I receive is worth it. I highly recommend Austin Perio.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Austin Periodontal Associates. I was dealing with an emergency periodontal situation and although I was a new patient, I was able to see Dr. Andrew Verrett the very same day. In addition to being an extraordinarily skilled periodontist, Dr. Verrett was kind, caring and reassuring, minimizing the anxiety I would normally feel under similar circumstances. The staff, Priya, Leah and Reina, were all exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful.

First visit I was impressed with the professionalism of Dr Verrett. He provided a frank and honest evaluation of my situation and proposed a solid treatment plan. He was not selling but providing good advice. Also inpressed with all of his support staff, they appear to have been carefully selected and perform their jobs with precision and completelness. Final note. This is a well run old school operation.

Dr. Varrett and his dental assistant team performed a successful implant following a broken tooth. The procedure was painless with anesthesia. The follow-up exams included x-rays and check to determine bone mass development and tightness of implant in the jaw bone. I look forward to the placement of a crown by Dr. Cook in the next few weeks. I expect this will last for the rest of my life.

My hygienist, Erin is the BEST! I have never been happy going to the dentist, but Erin makes me feel comfortable and does such a great job of cleaning that I look forward to my appointments with her. She is friendly and makes me feel that she is genuinely interested in taking care of my teeth. Thank you so much.Erin is fantastic. My cleaning was painless and thorough.
