Dr. Pk was wonderful! I was so nervous and not looking forward to a root canal AT ALL! He went over the procedure carefully explaining everything and calming my anxiety about it. The whole thing was actually quick and painless, I was finished before I knew it. The office was able to get me in super quick, the same week I called and everyone there was very polite and helpful. So thankful to have had my procedure done there. 10/10 would recommend!

So first of all I think most people shudder, cringe or even have a mild panic attack with the thought of having to have a root canal. Well, I think I did all three when I was told by my regular dentist I had to have one and being my first time I was not looking forward to it. I was referred to Austin Root Canal Specialists through the VA. Not knowing what kind of service I was going to receive I was prepared for the worst. But that is not what happened. I walked in to their office on Davis Ln. and was greeted warmly. The office is in great condition and well kept. They walked me back to the exam room and the dental assistant who's name escapes me was kind and extremely attentive. I felt calm and relaxed as she prepped me for the procedure. Then she introduced me to Dr. Khosravian. Considering this is a dental office I will say chair-side manner, and it was impeccable. He is extremely kind and took the time to explain everything. Sometimes at the dentist I feel like a number being rushed through but in this case not only did he take the time to explain the process and each and every possible outcome but during the procedure he continued to walk me through everything he was doing. The time and compassion everyone showed at the office was amazing. They really took the stress and anxiety out of the equation. Highly recommend!

Pedram Khosravian is amazing, demonstrating that my dentist's diagnosis was incorrect on one tooth and informing me it was more than likely better to simply have an extraction on the other rather than a root canal that might fail to resolve the issue. You can trust these guys to be honest with you, and that's why everyone should go here.

This is a great place. From the staff greeting you to the provider. If you need a root canal then this is the place to go! Dr. PW and his assistant Taylor were amazing! They both worked together to minimize my anxiety and remained with me after administration of numbing medication to ensure I was calm and during this time Dr. PW explained the entire procedure. He answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. I had a stubborn canal and both Dr. PW and Taylor kept me informed and calmed as this added extra time to the procedure. Post procedure care was discussed and I felt comfortable as to what to expect once I went home. I recommend Dr. PW and his team for all your root canal needs.

I had my first ever root canal here , I was very nervous. To my pleasant surprise the staff was very friendly and the dentist was super great and friendly . The process was much more relaxed and comfortable then I expected. I would definitely recommend this place especially if dental work makes you nervous this is the place to go .

My root canal on rear molar #30 was $1538 which was either on par or cheaper than the multiple other dentistry's I called.Dr. Pedram Khosravian did a very good job numbing me as I felt nearly nothing during root canal. Maximum sensitivity was a 3 throughout entire procedure and the 2-3 high points of sensitivity lasted for less than a second. I was very happy with how pleasant the procedure was. Didn't take too long. Only nominal pain after procedure, only requiring 200mg Ibuprofen and 500mg Tylenol the next morning and that is the only pain medication I took after the procedure. I interpret the minimal amount of pain post-procedure as an indication the procedure was done very clean/precise.He did the procedure on a brand new crown and he saved the crown.He also saw me right at my scheduled time.

I was SO impressed with the entire staff and Dr.I needed a root canal asap. I was in pain! I have had my share of bad experiences in the dental chair and I was not looking forward to going through this. The Dr. Explained everything he was going to be doing. Gave me the worst case scenario’s, but hoping for the best. Everything went so smoothly. They are definitely a medical team that is in sync with each other. If you need a specialist I highly recommend!!

I have a bit of a phobia of dentists so I was really shaking in my boots when I got there for my root canal, but there’s no where else I would go if I need another one someday. The doctor was very kind about my nerves and walked me through every little step so I was never surprised. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They also let my husband sit in the room with me, which meant a lot to me. The facility was clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you are nervous about dentists!!

Dr. PK and his entire staff are amazing, I’m so impressed. I was in pain andneeded a root canal, they did their best to get me the treatment ASAP.Dr. PK explained everything he was going to be doing. Dr. Khosravian is absolutely amazing. I sincerely regret not knowing about him earlier. He was referred to me by someone, and as soon as I sat down for my first session, I knew he was an expert in his profession. His precision, attention to detail, and the efficiency with which he performed the procedure made me realize that he is probably the best root canal specialist in Austin. The first retreat didn’t work, so he asked if we wanted to try again. He did his due diligence and ordered me a CT scan as well as X-rays and re-performed a second retreat at no additional cost to me. Unfortunately, it still didn’t take away the pain, so I’ll need an implant, but I know it’s no fault of his. I would highly recommend Dr. Khosravian to anyone on their FIRST root canal. You can avoid all the hell I went through by starting with him. He won’t make a mistake.
