The staff at Shelton Family Dental was very warm and friendly and the hygienist was truly wonderful. This was probably the best cleaning I have ever gotten! Can you imagine being an hour late for your appointment AND you were still able to see your dentist. That happened to me last week. They were wonderful , they made time to accommodate me AND on the same day. That's how patient friendly they are. My teeth are great, I get a lot of compliments. I've been a patient for over 40 years , I love their service.

Today was my first visit to Shelton Family Dental. I was first impressed by the pleasant waiting area. Two seemingly long-term patients were waiting happily when I arrived at the convenient 7:30am Monday opening hour. The front desk staff was helpful and detail-oriented. Upstairs in the chair, I was delighted by the festive artwork and the music and commentary playing in the background on WEAA. The exam area was clean, well-lit, and had nice window views of City College High School and the Alameda greenway median on two walls. The x-ray technician was a friendly, personable problem solver. Dr. Shelton himself was friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, and demure. The hygienist did an excellent job, comfortably cleaning my teeth with precision and care. I would highly recommend Shelton Family Dental, and I look forward to my second visit in six months.

As always, I was greeted warmly and treated with respect. My wait time was short. The atmosphere there is so relaxed and professional. The name Shelton Family Dental is indicative of how you are treated, like family. I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs

I had dental concerns regarding a root canal and Dr. Shelton allowed me to come and share my concerns. We were able to develop a treatment plan which decreased my anxious mood. I’m grateful for the experience considering she provided active listening, and empathic understanding skills. If you are in the market for a new dental home. Excellent visit as usual 😀😀. Front desk is pleasant and well organized. Minimal wait time in the lobby. Appointments are spaced out and they can always accommodate my two sons appointments back to back. They have taken great care of of me and my family’s teeth. I’ve been coming to Shelton Family Dental for over 40 years. Love Shelton Family Dental!!!

this place is BLACK owned and definitely safe for black people to visit. I've had my best dental experiences here and I plan to make this my permanent general dentist. Something about this office just feels like home. Dr.Shelton is so kind, extremely thorough and attentive to my needs. He always makes sure I fully understand my medical options and takes the extra time to answer any questions and concerns I have. This office is also well connected, so his referrals to other dental specialists were always high quality and top notch. Thank y'all so much, God bless everyone in that office.
