Bonita Endodontics

No one wants to have a root canal. But when it becomes necessary, I would highly recommend Bonita Endodontics. The office is clean, modern, and inviting. The front desk staff are welcoming and efficient. Consuela was professional, encouraging and kind. Dr. Bennett explained everything he was going to do and what he was doing as he went along. He checked with me constantly to make sure I was feeling no pain. And I didn't. He is highly skilled. I hope I don't need another root canal for many years but you can be sure I will be going back to Dr. Bennett!

Today was my first appointment at B.E. I felt welcome as soon as I opened the door. The front end staff were very friendly and accomodating. I was quickly called back into the treatment room and met Wanda. She was supporting the Dr. for my treatment. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed about my procedure. Wanda was there throughout the process assisting and letting me know what was happening. The Dr. finished and Wanda gave me the post procedure follow up. The entire process was pain free and enjoyable. Great office!

Hunter Bennett and his staff are top notch as far as I am concerned. Today I had the unfortunate pleasure of a root canal (4 canals!), but Hunter Bennett made me feel comfortable and walked me through the entire process. His assistant Allie was great too! Thank you to everyone at Bonita Endonotics for the great care you gave today. My first experience getting a root canal was better than expected.

I have had many root canals in my life, this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Dr Hunter Bennet and Britni were fantastic and made me feel at ease with their bedside manner and skill level. No one would ever say getting a root canal is a pleasurable experience but the staff at Bonita Endodontics definitely make it as close to pleasurable as it could be! Thank you to everyone there.

Dr. Jernberg and the staff at Bonita Endodontics deserve 10 Stars! Both front teeth needed root canals and the procedure was somewhat difficult because he first needed to remove very old root canal material. Dr. Jernberg was calming, gentle, diligent and an amazing expert. I've had many procedures over the years and can honestly say this was the best experience I've ever had. I was cautioned that I could have pain or soreness over the next few days but from the moment I walked out the door, I had not even one minute of discomfort. I'm truly grateful for the professionalism and work done by Dr. Jernberg. Highly recommended.

I respectfully, highly recommend Nathan Dewsnup DMD, MS, LLC and his assistant Brittani at Bonita Endodontics. I had a very serious, painful infection inside a prior root canal, requiring emergency intervention. His staff got me in promptly and he immediately did the procedure I needed in a single visit, after explaining my situation thoroughly. His communication skills are top notch. He was remarkably calm and thoughtful, and I could tell he paid attention to the finest detail while he intricately re-did my root canal, flushing out the infection. I am extremely grateful; I honestly can't think of a single thing that I wish had been done differently. Bonita Endodontics is top notch from the moment you walk in the front door until the moment you exit. A+++

I had a very good visit with Dr. Dewsnup yesterday for a root canal. He was very friendly and explained the procedure after our review of the diagnostics. Quick and efficient and I am feeling quite well today. The entire staff were engaging and friendly. I hope I do not need such services in the future, but if so will definitely return. Highly recommend.

I had a horribly painful experience during and after getting a crown and changed dentists. I was evaluated and referred to Bonita Endodontics for a root canal on the tooth that had been crowned. I was petrified, but my new dentist assured me they were the best and it would be worth the almost 2-hour drive from Pine Island in high season. The care I received from Dr. Hunter Bennett at Bonita Endodontics was great. But the front office needs to focus on patient care as well. Scheduling was very difficult due to their policy of only filling up a day from the morning forward so you cannot ask for an afternoon appointment. The worst, however were the lies. I was told my procedure report would be sent to my referring dentist the next day, but when I saw him the following week it was still missing, causing lots of confusion. I was told a paper claim would be sent to my insurance. When I heard nothing from my insurance, I called and the receptionist said oh, yes it was sent. Blue Cross had no record of it. I called again and spoke to the office manager, who said they would send it “again” and email me a copy of the claim. That was a week ago. Nothing. It is a shame because the dental care was great.

Outstanding service! Dr. Benett provided thorough explanations about the root canal procedure, tooth infection, and bone loss, and executed the treatment impeccably, ensuring a pain-free experience throughout. However, I was somewhat let down by the quality of the CBCT scan, as it only captured the left side of my mouth, necessitating additional "traditional" X-rays for the right side. Furthermore, the CBCT scan failed to offer any additional detail beyond what a traditional X-ray would reveal. Prospective buyers, take note!

I can't say enough about Dr. Nathan Dewsnup. He is amazing. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and he is a perfectionist. I've never had any problems with any of the root canals that's he's worked on. He makes sure you are in no pain also. His staff is just as amazing as he is. All very kind and professional. There is no one I would rather have work on my teeth than him.
