I had Dr Sengupta for 2 separate Wisdom Teeth extractions- and i was very comfortable with her the whole time. I knew i was in good hands- and as an anxious patient, getting this surgery done without going under anasthesia was the most comfortable way to get this done. First two teeth healed completely fine and the second two are already beginning to heal a day later with minimal swelling and discomfort. Nobody wants to get surgery but this is easily one of the more comfortable ways to do it.

Dr. C. is absolutely wonderful! Hardly anyone wants to have oral surgery, but he puts patients at ease. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He also has a nice sense of humor and bedside manner, which goes far with frantic, frazzled, and frightened patients (like myself). If you have an appointment with Dr. C, rest assured that you’ll be in good hands. I can’t recommend him enough!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Park Slope Oral Surgery with Dr. C! I got my wisdom teeth removed two at a time at separate visits and both times had a very pleasant and quick recovery. It was very easy to get an appointment when I was on a quick timeline and I appreciated Dr. C’s ability to calm my nerves. Absolutely would recommend if you need your wisdom teeth removed!

I was really scared coming to get some of my teeth extracted. But Dr. Chionchio and his staff were very kind and comforting. Dr. Chionchio extracted my wisdom tooth. It healed painlessly and quick. No pain through my whole experience! No pain through surgery or recovery! Amazing service!

I was really nervous for no reason. Dr. Chionchio is gentle and experienced. I’m not running but I’ll definitely go there again if I need too.

Had one of the biggest hardest teeth removed - cannot be simply pulled… i have real fear about tooth pain Dr. Chionchio is tremdously skilled has a good sense of humor and very importantly lets me know what’s happening and options of how to proceed. Couldn’t recommend he and his staff enough!!

I had a great experience at Park Slope during my short visit to New York as a tourist. I needed an emergency wisdom tooth removal, and everything was so easy. I got an appointment for the next day, and Grace welcomed me so kindly. The doctors were fast and finished the procedure in just 4 minutes. Everything went smoothly, and I felt no pain at all. It was an amazing experience.

This was my 2nd visit to this oral surgery office. I had Dr. Trina Sengupta for my last wisdom tooth extraction 2 years ago and had the pleasure of being under her care 2 years later to remove the 2 wisdom teeth on my left side. The office is quiet, clean and the check in staff are so sweet. They were up front about my costs outside. Of what my.insurwnce covered before starting surgery and I really appreciate the transparency. I decided. On doing. Just local anesthesia and did not do laughing gas. That's my personal preference and everything went smoothly. The surgery went well. I received detailed instructions, a packet of gauze and some mild pain medication in the office before I left as well as a cold pack. I took the train home, had minimal swelling the day of surgery and am currently healing.

I have very bad dental anxiety and this is the first time I have had dental surgery and experienced zero pain the entire procedure, which was an extraction (I usually dread them.) I felt fully heard and taken care of as a patient and that is new for me. The procedure was very fast and they even gave me a blanket which always helps with my anxiety. The clear aftercare instructions were also a plus. I even asked if I could make Dr. Chionchio my primary dentist, ha! All in all, a very good experience, as I am usually reduced to a nonverbal trembling mess at any dentist, and this was simply not the case today. Thank you!
