I've been hesitant to post this, but after recently reviewing my current dentist in Park Slope who is stellar, I approach this subject with sensitivity towards Dr. Kaufman's existing patients. I'm sure they are well taken care of and give him 5-star reviews.However, clearly there was some sort of bias during my treatment back in 2020. Whether it was due to gender, marital status or race, or the fact that Covid just emerged and he felt uncomfortable with having any new patients, I cannot say for sure.In my case and as verified by my new dentist at that time, after leaving this office I was left with a decaying tooth in my mouth. If this went untreated, it could have resulted in widespread infection. Dr. Kaufman treated the rotting tooth by putting a filling over it.The cost to fix this at my new dentist: approx. 2/3rds of one month's rent.I appreciate the opportunity to address this issue, since this office failed to solve the problem.

I visited Dr. Mark Kaufman for the first time. I'm a senior citizen with a chronic problem keeping my bridge from falling out. He found a creative solution to secure my bridge in my mouth permanently. He provided the service on the same day and also bonded a chipped front tooth. I walked out of his office with a beautiful smile and was very satisfied with his work.

Dr. Kaufman answered my questions about the technical details of my procedure with patience and thoroughness. During the procedure itself (filling my first ever cavity), he did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable and at ease with what was going on. Best of all, it didn't hurt at all and we were done in under 20 minutes. Cannot recommend him enough.

Amazing and friendly doctor. Interested in getting to know about the extracurricular interests of the patient and also about their health in general. Check up was amazing with new technology that I have not seen used by other dentists around the area. Used a miniature camera set up to take pictures of my teeth and explain what was being seen and what information was obtained to better aid in my dental care.

Dr Kaufman and his team truly amazing. Resolved my issue and had my best interest at heart. I would recommend this dentist to everyone. Exceptional service and a great team who worked with my insurance and out of pocket expenses. More importantly what stood out with Dr. Kaufman is his genuine kindness. I highly recommend this Dentist.

Dr. Kaufman and his staff have been Caring for my teeth since I was a child and I have only the best things to say about Smile With Us NY!!! Dr K is patient, kind, considers each individual patient to make their visits as comfortable, professional and effective as possible. His daughter, Dr.Ruthie is amazing too, on seperate occasions they both were able to fulfill my personal request to not numb my teeth and gently fix a cavity with almost no discomfort! Cleanings are a breeze, and Danna, the hygienist is very sweet and friendly, she practically feels like family😊With every dental visit, no matter the reason, I know that my teeth are well cared for. I was in a great deal of pain because my tooth was fractured. I was in such pain that I needed to see someone immediately. Dr. Kaufman opened his practice himself on the 4th of July (it was closed) so that I could get a diagnosis and treatment immediately.I highly recommend Dr. Kaufman and his practice.

I recently made a family trip to Dr. Kaufman for checkups, cleanings and fillings. The entire staff are so sweet, patient and gentle. We all agreed this was our best dentist/visit yet. They did a very through cleaning and explained what, why and how they were doing things. When they were working on the cavities, you could barely feel anything during and after the work. They even accommodated our scheduling requests! We are definitely planning on going back! :) :)

Dr. Kaufman and his team rock!! I’ve been looking for a while for a family dentist for me and my child for a while. And I finally found one. He’s super patient, and makes sure to guide you through all the process. I needed an emergency root canal and I was able come in earlier than scheduled. He broke down how much the insurance was covering and the out of pocket cost. To avoid any surprises. The best thing is that he opens on Sundays and I can schedule evening appointments.

Doctor Kaufman is the most patient and most experienced Dentist i have ever been to.He informs you about all your dental needs and does everything he can to help.He is extremely friendly and well experienced in his practice.I was very impressed with his work.I’ve had dental issues in the past but Doctor Kaufman did everything he can to educate me ,guide me ,and fix my dental problems.I 100% recommend Dr Kaufman.
