My teeth used to be SO crooked. I had my braces on for at least 1.5-2 years and my teeth are already straight. Throughout the time I wore my braces, only one of my bracets ever fell off, which I'm surprised about. Currently wearing retainers and I'm surprised about how strong they are! I've heard about people's retainers breaking, but the retainers I got feel pretty sturdy, so I'm pretty confident about the durability of them. The staff are very nice and assistive too. Overall, I'm happy about my experience.

It's only been like a month since I've gotten my braces off and I'm very satisfied with the experience that I've had here throughout the year. I feel like my braces journey went by so quickly because I thought I had to wait another month or two to get my braces off. But ever since I got my braces off I feel like my smile has definitely improved a lot, so I want to thank you guys for all hard work you've put into helping me achieve a better smile! Also, the staffs are very friendly and understanding. So, I definitely recommend others to come here!

I got my braces when I was 11 and got it off when I was 14. I am now 18, and I thought this review is long overdue. I am really glad I went to them for my braces because I would be way less confident with my smile if my teeth still looked the way they did. I had extremely crooked teeth and now they are as straight as ever. My experience with the receptionist and ortho were amazing; they were extremely nice. If you are reading this because you want to get braces here, I'd say just go get them!! (Remember to listen to what your ortho tells you to do, and do wear your retainers faithfully when you get your braces off!)

My daughter did her braces with Dr. Luk. She had severe overcrowding of teeth and one of her teeth was rotated sideway because there was just no room for it, not to mention she needed more room for the molars to come out. I held on the belief that no perfectly good teeth should be taken out like many other people I know. That belief limited her options for treatment and the desired result. I was finally convinced, with Dr. Luk’s guidance and advise, that she needed teeth taken out to achieve the best outcome for her case. It was a difficult choice but truly the best choice because my daughter now has the most beautiful smile, one that I could not have possibly imagined. I would not have the confidence to go along if it wasn’t for Dr. Luk. I’m so grateful to have found him and will be forever indebted to him.

I’ve been going to Superlative since July 2021, and finally got them off January 2023. It flies by quickly when you properly take care of your braces (wearing your bands, etc) and following what Dr. Luk tells you to do. Taking my braces out was a life changing, transformative experience for me as I am now confident and happy with my smile! This is the right place for you to go if you’re in need of braces.

My experience at Superlative Smiles was amazing. I went there yesterday and they told me to give them a review so 5/5. I would totally recommend it. The place was very warm and welcoming. Everyone was nice. Dr. Luk was extremely nice. I had braces for I think a year and a half and since January of 2021 (this year) I have been wearing retainers. I got my braces before the whole pandemic happened in 2019, and took my braces off in 2021. It was tight at first when I got my rubber bands but after 30-ish hours I got used to the pain. I have definitely seen an improvement with my smile for sure. I’ve seen the before and after shots and there was a major improvement. I was glad I came here. Now I’m wearing retainers to maintain my smile. They also demonstrate how you are supposed to use the rubber bands and retainers which was great. In the beginning, I had to watch a video of how braces work and then I was good to go.

My braces have been removed for a few months and I am very satisfied with the result. Dr. Luk is very gentle and patient. During the COVID-19 period, one of my braces fell off, but as soon as they reopened, he contacted me to repair it for free. After removing the braces, my bite became normal and my teeth looked more beautiful. Thanks Dr. Luk! If I have friends who need orthodontics, I would recommend them to come here!

Dr. Lu is the most professional and patient doctor among the many orthodontic dentistry doctors on Eight Avenues. Originally, my teeth were very crowded and my bite problems were serious. It was a wonderful and quick 30 months! Started with Dr. Luk in January of 2018 and ended my journey this July of 2021. All my anxiety and worries disappeared as he started my treatments. He was fast and very professional when treating me. Very nice and understanding, especially when I was unsure. I don’t know how I can express my appreciation to him and how outstanding he is. I can only say I have already recommended at least 5 friends over to him and all of them were just as satisfied as me. That explains everything!
