The facilities are nice but I don’t think the dentists are very well trained. My tooth I had them do was really sensitive. They also told me my insurance would provide full cover and then debited my card a couple of months after without reaching out or explaining why. Apparently they had worked on a tooth before my insurance was ready to cover any work on it again. But the thing is, if they had waited three months it would fully be covered. So their admin team made the mistake and gave me wrong info and then billed me for it. Had to consistently follow up with them everyday to get a status update. This place has so many bells and whistles like sunglasses, clean facilities, Netflix but I would will never return here given my experience. It feels like a gimmick.

Do not recommend. I will never again go to one of these corporate chain offices where these junior dentists straight out of dental school work on your teeth. There is no owner present, and no accountability at these places. I learned the hard way. Two years later and I am still experiencing issues from the filling I had done here. I regret coming here so much. I am not sure I will ever be able to properly fix the damage that was inflicted on me here.

Have been going to this location for three years. They sometimes get it right and sometimes don't. I had to deal with issues ranging from scheduling to billing (different amount billed), long wait times regardless of appointment time and a little bit of IDGAF attitude here and there. The inconsistency is a throw off and the amount of stress you go through once these issues arise is not worth whatever Tend's marketing team claims to offer. In the end all the negative experiences cancel out any positive encounters previously had. I do not recommend and will not return to Tend.

Do not let the fancy office fool you. Take the time to find and go to a dental practice that is not owned by a VC ( venture capital). There is no clear communication with each office and they do not know how to bill properly. They continued to tell me I was covered for XYZ procedures ( implants, cavities , cleanings..) and would encourage me to schedule the next appointment; share with me what the copay would be, later to find out they have no idea what they are doing and now I am left with exorbitant amount of dental bills. There is also no clear communication with billing and they simply do not care. There is not 1 direct contact person you can speak to and you can't find any number to any individual office. It is also a revolving door or dentists who come and go of whom also have admitted that it is a horribly run organization. Do yourself a favor. Don't fall for convenience. If you are looking for the Dentist you grew up with, that you can pop in for an emergency or work with your insurance directly for transparency; this is not it! Find a owner operated dentist. They care. Even if it is 10-15 minutes out of the way, the peace of mind will be worth it and you will get better hands on care and will see the same staff every visit!

Final updateI got my breezy braces off six months ago & overall I’m really happy with the results! I’m glad they made internal adjustments because the experience did a 180 from my first time compared to my last appointment. The team is helpful & ensured I left feeling good after each visit. I haven’t stopped smiling 😁——————Updating my review because I’ve noticed a significant change in the service. My appointments have been consistent & the orthodontist is more attentive. No rushing, last minute changes or lack of communication.Overall I’m having a better experience.I look forward to see how the rest of my time goes with Tend.———I got Breezy Braces with Tend and I was excited at the start. Unfortunately, the team at the Williamsburg office has changed my excitement to disappointment and annoyance. The scheduling system they have is unorganized and unprofessional. They have rescheduled all of my appointments without prior notice. They tell you afterwards and act like you'll be okay with the change. No.Customer service isn't a hard skill, and it goes a long way. Please tell your team in this office to do better.I cannot wait to have my braces off, so I don't have to go here anymore.

In regards to an extremely unprofessional worker a particular individual by the name of Angelica Perez . Today I felt extremely uncomfortable, because I have heard how this person not only is extremely rude to me and others as a patient. I felt very uncomfortable, not only that, but I have witnessed her being extremely corrosive towards her own workers. This person should work in a jail cell, but not a dental office/clinic. I felt like I was assisted by a Hoodlum today. Will not be coming here in the future.

Part of my permanent retainer is loose, after receiving it 10yrs ago (from a different ortho). I schedule an appt at Tend to get part of it re-glued, works until 1 WEEK goes by and it comes off again. Again, i go back and get it fixed. LESS than a week later (today) its loose again. I'm frustrated and concerned as i will need to schedule a 3rd appt to fix something so simple that should last 10yrs! I'm also nervous as to the quality of the products they use because this glue on the permanent retainer should last years! Please find a different dental/ortho office, even if its for a simple fix, it will save you the headache and time.

Have been to Tend more than a few times, and every time have had issues. I’ve been asked to reschedule by their team multiple times, have been called while on my way to an appointment saying there was a schedule issue, and even after rescheduling have had issues where the “system” did not process the new appointment even though I received multiple forms of confirmation.

Amazing experience. Felt very safe. Both the hygienist and doctor were incredibly gentle and explained everything clearly and in detail Making sure to show me exactly the problem areas on the x rays. Everything from the X rays to photo taking and measurements was gentle and considerate, unlike places I had experienced before. Also nice there is a TV on the ceiling so I can watch Planet Earth during the clean. They have someone on hand to explain the costs and insurance as well. Highly recommend.
