On April 27, 2023 I saw Dr. Michael C. Strassberg D.S.D for the first time, who did a COMPLETE dental exam that included Chart Measurements of my gums, that he said is a regular part of a dental exam. I advised him that I had forgotten about it until he started calling off numbers for the dental assistant to notate. I told him I used to have it done at Willingboro Family Dental, but it had NOT been done, for so many years that I COMPLETELY forgot that it was supposed to be a routine part of a dental cleaning and exam!Dr. Strassberg advised I needed Periodontal Scaling & Root Cleanings which was done by Debbie Miliano, Periodontal Hygienist since May of 2023. During my last cleaning, March 27, 2024, she’s found that almost a year later, I’m still experiencing swelling and bleeding and that there’s more damage than they originally thought. During this excruciating process, Debbie has been not only proficient at what she does, but she’s compassionate, comforting and informative with ways we will work to reverse the damage that was done to me by my previous dental hygienist, Dominique & dentist, Dr. Chinnakonda, DDS at Willingboro Family Dental for eight years of neglect during my consistent semi-annual visits. I’m extremely thankful and grateful to her for her expertise, dedication to her profession and caring enough to go the extra mile for me! It’s been a long process, but I’m confident that she’ll get me back to good oral health!I also want to mention their new office manager, Marisa Saraceni, who, since she’s been in charge, has been an absolute pleasure working with! She is exceptionally great at communicating and following up when she says she will! The previous manager, Lia was HORRIBLE in EVERY way!

I was referred to this place by my dentist as they noticed tartar build up between my teeth on x rays. I called in and scheduled specifically for scaling and root planing. On the day of my appointment , the doctor looked at my gums and said they were good to go and sent me on my way. When I asked about my deep clean the doctor said he was unaware of the scheduled procedure. I was sent on my way home and really just confused about why my procedure wasn't done. Staff is super friendly but otherwise are either incompetent or lied to me about providing such services.

I arrived late for my appointment as I wasn’t sure where it was. In spite of that everyone was understanding and nice to me. The doctor was very good at explaining everything in detail as to what is going on with my gums and explained the procedure that i need with follow up treatment. I feel confident after listening to him that he will be able to take care of my gums

Had two dental implants done today. I had a consult with a different doctor. Today upon arrival I found out he moved to Long Island. He’s gone and I would have my procedure with another doctor. I was very nervous about that. But the doctor was nice and pleasant and appeared confident. She and the assistant have not worked together often and seemed to be bickering. I had pain throughout my surgery. It seemed like they could not find tools they needed from time to time because it is an office that is barely used or something (their main office is in Philly apparently). At one point, the doctor asked for the tongue retractor and the assistant said “no there isn’t one”. So I tried to retract my tongue myself. And it seemed like that scenario kept playing out with different tools. I experienced a lot of pain during the procedure which I have never had happen before. I’ve only ever had pain a couple hours after anesthesia wore off. I had to have anesthesia administered a couple of times and I’m not sure why. When I left there was a guy fixing something in the front and the water in the bathroom faucet was spitting out like it had either just got turned off or on when I used the bathroom sink. I was SO nervous when I saw this basket (in the photo attached) in the room prior to my procedure and I wanted to leave because of it but I didn’t and I should have. It just looked sloppy and unkempt like someone did not care and I thought it didn’t bode well for what was coming and I was right. It was not a good experience. I just pray that my dental implants heal. I didn’t want to go back to my old periodontist because he is in Philly and his schedule is so hard to get on but I really think I should have. I wish I had followed my intuition and just walked out the door. Gave two stars because the procedure was completed.

Came here for a gum graft to restore my gum line and cover the exposed root of my tooth to relieve pain and sensitivity. Staff was very friendly. I had an appointment set with the doctor I did my consultation with. I received a call the day before my appointment asking me to reschedule. While rescheduling, I found out I was going to be treated by a different doctor I had never met. The original doctor I met with had left the practice. No one bothered to call and inform me, I only found out because they had me reschedule. When my appointment came, the new doctor I met with had my chart and I was assured the procedure and treatment plan would be the same. As I was being prepped for surgery, the new doctor had told me the gum graft I would be receiving would not cover the exposed root of my tooth, it would be placed underneath to “prevent further recession”, which is not what I need the gum graft for, I was told gum grafts should not cover the root of a tooth because it will fail. This was the complete opposite of what my treatment plan originally was, and defeats the purpose of getting a gum graft. I decided not to go through with the procedure. This has been a chaotic and frustrating process, I’m disappointed that I wasn’t able to get properly treated, and now must go through the process of finding a new periodontist to get the correct treatment for me.
