My experience at Chicago Smile Specialists was great! I was looking for a pediatric dentist for my child’s dental work and found them online. From his first visit, we both felt comfortable. He just had a procedure done yesterday and they explain the process and are also amazing with the kids. Would definitely recommend them! It was also a constant communication once I set up an appointment for his procedure. I had questions and they were always answered. Alma was a great help too! Thank you!

Dr. Ricardo Mendoza and his entire team, especially Ms. Alma, make the best kid dentistry practice in all of Chicago. It always feels like seeing family when we are there for services. My kids feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of. You cannot go wrong in choosing this office for your children’s dental health. We highly recommend it! Also do yourself a favor and look up Dr. Mendoza ‘s bio, impressive professional achievements!

I 100% recommend Dr. Mendoza. I start seeing Dr. Mendoza when I was 3 years old. Dr. Mendoza and his staff are one of the most kind and caring people I’ve met. I was never afraid to come for a visit because of how generous and professional him and staff are that makes it a free fear atmosphere. Unfortunately I am 18 and last week was my last visit and I’m going to miss them very much!

I really liked the attention and how they treated my 2 and 4 year old children. They have everything to keep them distracted and have a pleasant time. The dental assistants and doctor who treated us were very caring, professional and kind.I must also note that my youngest child had several cavities to fill and both Doctor Mendoza, the Anesthesiologist and the assistants were super kind and affectionate with my baby. I loved the attention of Alma, the receptionist, she was super professional explaining the entire process to remove the cavities and super patient answering all my questions, since as it was the first time, I was very afraid that my young son would go through a procedure So. But they were so professional that I could understand and stay calm.

It is my favorite dental office, I have been taking my children there for more than 5 years, all the staff is very friendly, they always make the children feel comfortable and calm during their visit. Thank you to all the staff for their patience and great work, not only what they do with patients, but also for always keeping the office decorated according to the season of the year, my daughter loves Halloween decorations 🎃.

The staff is super friendly and patient with children. My son is super scared of dentist appointments and the dentist assistants always make sure to explain the whole procedure before starting in order to ease his fear. As a parent, I love how my kids get treated here...we've had very unpleasant interactions at other practices and couldn't believe how respectful and caring they are at Chicago Smile Specialist! Definitely reccomend this dental practice!

Where do I begin, amazing front desk, and dental assistants and the dentist are all amazing. Started bringing my son when he was 6 years old to the office. After visiting many other dentist. They make the kids feel at peace. Just recently we had a dental emergency with my daughter and the after hour response from Alma and Dr. Mendoza were so helpful. Dr. Padilla is also amazing and so kind with her patients. My kids look forward to coming to there dental visits.

I have always had a wonderful experience at this location until today. We loved this dentist so much that we would drive more than an hour to bring our son here. I'm not sure what changed. My son had an appointment at 9am today so his dad took him. At 9:35 I had a missed called from the dentist's office, so I return the call. It seemed that my husband had grown impatient of waiting so he left. I tried to apologize and explained that he drove for more than an hour so was probably upset at having to wait for so long. However, the receptionist started giving me attitude while stating that they are busy, and he was told he might have to wait long. I never even complained about the wait time and was not even present so there was no reason for her to berate me over the phone. I understand they are busy and stressed but they don't need to take their frustrations out on others. Unfortunately, I will now need to find a new dentist which is a shame because I really liked Dr. Mendoza.Edit: Again at no point did I complained about the wait time but it seems like you guys keep thinking that was the problem (I’m not sure were is the miscommunication there). My problem was the way your receptionist spoke to me over the phone. The attitude and tone was unnecessary. Also, calling someone ‘’honey’’ is highly condescending and inappropriate in a professional setting which she did.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a smiling staff. Front desk is suuuuuper kind and so helpful! Dr. Mendoza is so great! The staff worked together along with the Dr. to help make my child’s visit welcoming, fun and minimized any stress for my child. They really go above and beyond! The waiting area is also very welcoming with games, books, TV and coloring.. and super clean! Communication is also great.. phone call is always answered or returned and staff is very helpful answering any questions. I can’t rave enough about this place and their wonderful staff. I definitely have found the dentist for my children for years and years to come! If you’re looking for a dentist, look NO FURTHER.. 10/10 definitely recommend! Amazing! I had awesome experience from start to finish. Both my sons had bad dentist experiences in the past. My 6 year old wasn't to drilled to go in for a check up. But once we arrived. & was getting his cleaning done , he couldn't stop being a chatter box with the dental assistant and Dr. Denis. She was amazing with both my kids. & was reassuring my 6 year old how they are going to work together to get the tooth bugs out in his next visit. He is actually excited to go back & even came home telling everyone how they need to brush their teeth. LoL. I feel a relief to have finally found an amazing pediatric dentistry office for my kids .. 1000/ 10 ⭐️'s recommend.
