City Smiles

My husband and I have been patients here for six years now. We both love it- they do great work and it’s a calm safe environment. We moved to the suburbs over a year ago now and we both decided to keep coming to City Smiles. I have some dental anxiety and am happy to have found a place that makes me very comfortable and not anxious to visit the dentist.

I will not go anywhere else in the city! I live in Old Town and there are ELEVEN dentists within eight blocks of my building. The drive to Irving Park is well worth my time. This is BY FAR the cleanest, friendliest and most professional dental office I’ve ever been to. My experience, however, has been strictly with Dr. Patel over the past 9 years or so. The hygienists are amazing as well! They thoroughly explain any issues I may have, what needs to be addressed and how to properly maintain my teeth moving forward. Their pricing is extremely reasonable for the work performed. Obviously I highly recommend City Smiles.

Dr. Patel and her assistant were incredible. I had a badly infected tooth that was very painful and they handled it with the utmost professionalism and patience that one could ask for. I have a small mouth and a low threshold for pain and even though it took awhile cuz of my limitations, they got the tooth out and im on my way to recovery. Thank you so much, best dental experience I’ve ever had.

Brought my son who is nervous about getting cleanings done to this office. Very welcoming, patient, and understanding. As soon as you enter you’re greeted & welcomed by the front desk! Fast forward, my son needed a break here and there and the hygienist (Damaris) didn’t pressure him to continue, she would pause and give him a small break. They worked together to get through his cleaning. Dr rotkvich, a funny and gentle doctor! If you’re looking for a dentist office this place is it!

If I had known it was going to be so great here, I would’ve made time to get here years ago. Every single person was so nice. Anna and Adriana were incredibly patient and supportive with my anxiety and tendency to “gag” and constantly reassured me that I was doing great. Dr Patel was super nice while being detailed in her explanations and Diana was the same in explaining the charges and appointments.Nice the hear laughter through the office while my teeth are being worked on...sounds like everyone enjoys working together.Follow up 9/19/22 - saw Amanda last Friday and she couldn’t have been nicer!

I am terrified of Dentists. I had massive tooth pain and found City Smiles on line. They got me in the next day. Dr. Koch and her assistant were wonderful. Tooth was extracted and I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Koch was so nice and comforting knowing that I was scared and nervous.Even the ladies at the front desk were wonderful. I have a lot more work to be done so I definitely going back to them. Such a joy to be able to find a dentist office you feel comfortable with. City Smiles has been our family dentist for 23 years, since they were Simon and Simon. I’m always happy to recommend them to friends. Whenever I come in, it’s apparent that they are keeping up with changes in dentistry, from equipment to little things, like whatever they put on my teeth to eliminate any pain from sensitivity during cleaning. They take time to answer questions, are friendly, the office is clean and comfortable. We’re very happy with them.

I’m traveling for work and developed tooth pain. They got me in immediately. The staff was, to a one, amazing. They were consummate professionals while treating me with kindness and compassion. Alice, Margarita, and Dr. Simon provided an exceptional level of service and care. The office was lovely, peaceful, comfortable and clean. They turned a challenging dental situation into a great experience for me. If you’re looking for the best dentist in Irving Park, you’re going to love the City Smiles team.

I always have a good experience at City Smiles but my most recent visit was extra special. Now, getting my teeth cleaned has never been one of my favorite activities, but I’ve also never had my teeth cleaned by Charmane. Miss Charmane did the best, most thorough job EVER. Seriously I can’t remember the last time my teeth were this clean. But it wasn’t just that. She was such a calming person that she put me immediately at ease. The doctors and staff are always super awesome too. I love City Smiles. For me, they’re hands down the best dentist in Chicago.

I have been a patient at City Smiles and my feelings are with the highest level of respect for all that are involved in patient care and respect with as little pain as possible. People can trust and appreciate how much your treatment will be in the utmost concern of importance to your needs. The office staff are excellent in handling what is needed to help move your process move along smoothly. The office is very clean and organized.
