I had a great experience at Hyde Park smile dental studio. Dr. Turner is not only an excellent dentist but also very personable. I appreciate our conversation each and every time. I’m probably one of the very few people in the world to enjoy going to the dentist, but this place is super professional, super clean, just plain super! Highly recommended!

I am averse to going to dentists, and do so because of health. That being said, the hygienist was very thorough (my teeth look great), and there was an absence of pain. The doctor was similarly thorough, answered all my questions. They were on times, professional and friendly, from the front desk staff to the providers. The office is clean and modern. There are only good words to be spoken about this practice. My daughter recommended this practice to me.

7/11/23Hyde Park Smile StudioEast Hyde Park Blvd. This was my second visit to this dentist office after a consultation visit. The staff members are very attentive, professional, and kind. The office is very modern and clean.During this second visit, I experienced the best dental cleaning I have ever had -- no exaggeration.Nadeem Rahman was my dental hygienist. First, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the procedure was.Nadeem was professional, knowledgeable, kind and courteous. She took her time and clearly explained the procedure beforehand and answered every follow up question. She was very gentle and thorough in cleaning my teeth. When she finished, she again took her time and carefullydemonstrated proper dental care and maintenance.Overall, again it was a very pleasant experience.10/16/23Hyde Park Smile Studio -East Hyde Park Blvd.On 7/31/23, I had a root canal with a follow-up procedure for 2 crowns performed by Dr. Ryan Turner who was assisted byCharisse, dental assistant. Everything was done in a timely and professional manner.Prior to meeting with Dr. Turner I had never had any type of invasive dental work, just general cleanings. I had heard several "horror" stories regarding root canals. I am a senior and needless to say I was quite stressed.Dr. Turner immediately endeavored to make me as comfortable as possible even giving me a bottle of cold water.Dr. Turner is an extremely skilled dentist. He was very gentle, kind and courteous throughout the entire procedure. He was constantly checking to see if I had any discomfiture. He apprised me of every step he was taking as he was doing this procedure.Charisse, worked "hand in glove" with Dr. Ryan. She was alsosuper attentive, kind, and courteous.I was totally shocked! The procedure was painless before, during and after. I even went shopping immediately after the procedureLOL! My husband was even shocked at the fact that I didn't have any pain, etc. He said he couldn't even tell that I had a root canal. And there were no problems regarding the crowns either. The whole office truly works as a "team" with Dr. Ozzie (it is not just words!)It was truly a pleasant experience. Dr. Turner is one of the bestdentists I have ever visited.1/18/23Last week, I went for my periodic dental cleaning. Nadeen was my dental hygienist and again my experience with her was excellent! She was very caring, gentle, attentive and professional. The thing that makes this even more extraordinary is that the building had a broken water pipe!Nadeen along with the other hygienist, doctors, assistants and office staff were just as upbeat. Some were happily mopping the facility and doing other odd jobs along with taking care of the clients! They truly exemplified the best example of team work and great attitudes under extreme circumstances that I have seen.It was something to see!

My first visit to this office and it was timely, professional and pleasant. The front desk staff was prompt and the hygienist/assistant made sure I was comfortable and aware of everything that was happening. Dr. Turner has a very gentle touch and thoroughly reviewed my oral exam results. I'll definitely continue my treatment with him at this location. Highly recommended!

If you are in the Hyde Park or Westloop area looking for a quality professional dentist, look no further. Honestly. Dr. Ozzie and his entire team are amazing. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. The process flow of the tiniest details from scheduling appointments, to the most critical of details for your oral health, treatment options and continued care and education is the best in the city. I am beyond grateful that Dr. Ozzie and his team (shout out to my Hygienist Jasmine, she’s the best in the world).... opened their dental office in my neighborhood. They do have one in West Loop as well but Hyde Park is easy to get to off Lakeshore Drive, with plenty of street parking and now there is private parking garage under Whole Foods and it cost 3$ with validation from Marshall’s or Whole Foods. So don’t count them out if you don’t reside in Hyde Park. I have always recommended them and will continue to. I have never had a poor experience. They pride themselves in providing excellent customer service and care.

This practice has serious issues with their customer service. It was very nice at the beginning for the 1st time appointment and the dentist was professional, but then it became extremely hard to reach out to their front desk. You called but never got picked up.They can change your appointment time *without notice*. They didn't even contact me to discuss it beforehand on one 2-min call. This is neither nice nor respectful. Is this practice the only one in the world that makes conflicting appointments? I think everywhere else does, but other practices know how to contact persons in a polite manner.Hyde Park is a community where many university affiliates live. I could hardly image such an inpatient and rude thing happened to me but it did, just today, just minutes ago.I was calling to fix this "I-don't-know-why-suddenly-I-have-a-new-appointment" issue as I just received an email which had a completely different time from their previous confirmation email. I was thinking if that was a mistake, so I called to check in. Also, because I had multiple appointments with them, I was confused which one they changedHowever, the receptionist just hung up even before I could finish my sentence and explain why I was so confused. Hanging up? Not very nice. Come on. To be honest, do you think this is being nice to your patients?I feel I may not trust them that much in future as I did before. I hope someone can see my review before making any appointments with them.

My family has been going here for years and they are excellent with children as well as adults. Always, efficient and super hygienic during these COVID times. I am thankful that this practice has been very accommodating and mindful of my autistic son’s special needs as well as that of my entire family. Dr. Ozzie and Jasmin are the best!

I initially asked for an appt with Dr. Smith, because I was referred to him. Dr. Smith was unavailable for several weeks and I needed care soon, because my gums was irritated and sore below one of my tooth. The office said Dr. Britni Robinson was available to see me and asked could I get there within the hour to which I agreed. I was very skeptical because I was referred to Dr. Smith and knew nothing about Dr. Robinson, not only that she was not on their website as a team member. When I got there I waited for 10+ minutes up front and then I was taken to the dental chair, where the dental assistant said the dentist would be in shortly. I sat there for over 15 minutes. I could hear some of the staff in the back laughing and joking around like they were in high school. As I'm sitting there the dental assistant and another young lady come running from he back to the front, pass my chair playing tag like kids. So unprofessional! Meanwhile no one say's anything to me to let me know what's going on or when the dentist was coming in. Finally after a 20 minute wait in the chair the dentist walks in. She doesn't introduce herself, and ask what was going on with my tooth. This dentist walks in with a scarf on her head and a sweat suit like she was going to the gym. Where is the dentist uniform? And unprofessional! She looks at my x-rays and then says "you need a root canal". She didn't elaborate, explain or show me the x-rays to explain what all this meant. I told her this was surprising to me because 4 months earlier I got a deep tissue cleaning of the gums and my periodontist didn't mention there was a problem with the tooth. She just flatly repeated again that I needed root canal, not expounding on anything. An appt was made to see an endodontist. Upon my visit they took a CT Scan. The endodontist examined my tooth and the CT scan and informed me I DO NOT need a root canal and that my tooth was healthy. He said I may have had food under my gums and it got irritated and have been removed with flossing or brushing. Dr. Britni Robinson gave me the wrong diagnosis and could have did a great deal of harm. In my gut I didn't feel confident in her diagnosis.I was referred to Dr. Smith, but it is hard to get an appt with him. It's imperative to have confidence in your dentist. After this experience I have no confidence, therefore I cannot recommend this dental office.

I was referred to this office by my former dentist who retired from his practice. From my arrival, at the front desk to being serviced by the dental assistant and then the dentist. Everyone was kind, knowledge and respectful. The dental assistant, Sherice and the dentist, Dr. Brittni Robinson were excellent! They ensured I wasn’t experiencing any pain or discomfort while they performed routine examination and care. Dr. Robinson saw some minor issues concerning my teeth. She gave me a treatment plan which I will definitely make my next appointment with her to address those issues. Also, the office itself, is modern and clean. I felt quite comfortable in the space.
