Molar City

Dr. Kevin Ng and the staff at Molar City are fantastic! Kind, excellent care, and they are still taking COVID precautions. If you are trying to minimize your exposure to airborne pathogens, Molar City is a great dental option. Excellent ventilation (photos incl. of Aranet readings), direct care staff in N95 respirators (and other staff in masks!), air purifiers on high everywhere ~ there is no such thing as no risk but this was absolutely low risk. I needed two fillings and Dr. Ng was able to do it same day. They were the easiest fillings I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Molar City.

Molar city is a the ideal dental office. The staff, Doctor, dental hygienist were all very polite, knowledgeable and caring. The office is very modern and inviting. The equipment and technology is impressive.I had a thorough examination and cleaning. Left feeling well taken care of. All my questions were addressed.If you are looking for a Dentist on the North side, look no further.

I hadn't been to the dentist in a very very long time and Dr. Ng made me feel so comfortable. He and his hygenicist were so gentle! I'm very used to dentists being a bit aggressive with my teeth. I thought that were doing one pass over my teeth and would go back in with a bit more power, but no. They're just that good! My teeth look and feel great. Along with that, they follow great air quality guidelines which is rare to find. Happy to have a dentist that I can go to now!

It has been a long time coming for me to write this review, but I am a very happy patient of Molar City! After a terrible experience at another dentist back in 2020, I reluctantly sought dental treatment from Dr. Ng and the rest of his team at Molar City, and I’ve never felt more confident in my decision to go to them. Need a dentist you can trust to care and encourage you to do better? Dr. Ng and his team at Molar City are who you should choose! Dr. Ng and his team are passionate, professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and devoted to providing excellent care for you. Dr. Ng is an absolute legend. I have never felt so comfortable at the dentist in my life. Dr. Ng, the assistant Carmen, and the dental hygienist (I forgot her name, I'm so sorry!) all did an amazing job, not only with taking care of my teeth, but also with making me feel so comfortable and welcome. Two years ago I had a different dentist who botched my fillings, Dr. Ng was able to replace them for me and I'm forever grateful. I was so at ease I even dozed off a few times.Thank you so, SO much to Dr. Ng and the team. Happy to finally find a dentist that I like.

Excellent imaging equipment and bedside manner. Continuing to take masking seriously when many other dental offices no longer do so. Transparent cost estimates openly discussed. Considerably better attention to detail than other dentists I've seen in the past; I wish I'd come to them earlier, to get work done right the first time.---When my review was originally written, my primary dentist in this office was Dr Renee. With her departure, I've been adopted by Dr. Ng. I remain nothing but pleased -- I recently had a quite complicated bit of work done (removing a crown that was badly created by a different office, and performing a root canal underneath), and my recovery was considerably faster than anticipated.

Amazing, I love the space, I didn’t have to wait 20 mins for the dentist to see me like most places, the dental hygienist was super nice and caring and the dentist(Dr Nga Huynh)was extremely precise did an amazing job on my teeth. They interacted with insurance to ensure things were covered and explained my costs prior to preforming any procedure. People can’t believe they performed cleaning on day one.

I had an amazing experience at the office. When you first walk in you're greeted by an incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful office environment with great amenities. The dental team were very helpful and engaging. The doc was also really accommodating to my needs as a patient and provided me with the best experience possible. The dental work is amazing and I am beyond satisfied with the results. This is the best dental experience I have ever had.

After years of not taking proper care of my dental health, I decided to search for a dentist that was in-network on my BlueCross BlueShield app. I found Molar City quickly and saw that they accepted Delta Dental Premier BCBS PPO plan. I visited Molar City's website and immediately noticed the following:1. Reimagining Dental Visit: the website openly advertises that Molar City's goal is to reimagine how you feel at the dentist. The site states that they want trips to the dentist to feel good.2. Services Provided: the website transparently advertises the services that they provide along with detailed explanations for each service and who these services may help.3. Team: Dr. Kevin Ng, Dr. Nga Huynh, and Dr. Alhakim all are advertised as "neighborhood, family dentists" that care about your treatment quality and experience over all else.So, did the real-world visit meet the lofty expectations that the websites evokes? Yes, several times over. Let me explain:1. The dental visit really is reimagined, but not because Dr. Ng and his team are doing anything unimaginable. Instead, I believe it is Dr. Ng and his team's priority to paying attention to small details with the patient's experience in mind that really changes the feeling of going to the dentist. Walking in, you really are greeted by friendly associates. The entire office is incredibly clean, bright, and welcoming, and the waiting spaces feel more like a functional living space than a traditional waiting room. The best part, in my opinion, is that the operation rooms feel warm and comforting: calming mood lighting, a TV hanging overhead to watch Netflix while being worked on, and the friendly bedside manner of the dentists and hygienist you happen to work with that day.2. Dr. Ng and Dr. Alhakim gave me a deep cleaning, and started the process for me to get Invisalign invisible braces. I cannot express enough how painless the cleaning experience was, literally, and how transparent both Drs. were about the treatment process of invisible braces. This not only made me feel confident in the care I was receiving, but actively made me look forward to returning for my next cleaning and boasting about my oral health progress.3. The team truly is kind. From my hygienist the first day to Drs. Ng and Alhakim, each treated me kindly, but more importantly, they each spoke to me as another human being. It made me forget that I was a patient, and it felt more like I was there for a visit -- without the "dental" part before it.If Molar City works with your insurance provider, I highly recommend you give them a try! Renee and the team at Molar City really made it a great experience . Had my insurance approved and ready to review pricing/work needed to add outside of my new patient initial screening, XRay and cleaning.Going back in 3 weeks to pick up a night guard they suggested I sleep with.Booking was easy and follow-ups seem like they’ll be easy as well.
