There were several problems throughout my son’s time at west loop orthodontics for braces. The brackets constantly came off before the orthodontist used a stronger glue that stopped the issue. There is a cancellation policy that if you are 10 minutes late, the appointment is cancelled, but they have no problem making you wait 10-20 minutes to be seen once you arrive for an appointment. Parents are not allowed in the area where the children have their braces put on, adjusted, and removed and there is often little to no communication with the parent on how things are progressing. I recommend Chicago Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontists where my other child had a much better experience and experienced none of these issues.

Beyond satisfied with my experience at west loop ortho. I came to close gap in my lower teeth and went through two years of Alighners treatment and I’m very happy that I decided to go with this clinic. Dr. Arruda and Dr. Desai and the whole team were very sensitive to my needs and made sure that my smile is perfect. In such a long and delicate journey I wouldn’t trust anyone but the team of West Loop Ortho. Highly recommend!

Before my treatment, I couldn't chew food properly due to my bite and I didn't like my smile. I made the mistake of not going to West Loop Ortho initially. Instead I just signed up at the closest Orthodontist to my apartment and it was a terrible experience. Eventually he kept aggressively pushing me to have jaw surgery along with some other extreme treatments such as gum grafting. I went to every orthodontist in Chicago for a consultation (about 12-13 in total) to get more opinions. All but 2 (west loop was one of them) said they couldn't help me without surgery. West Loop Ortho was the one I decided to go with and I'm very happy I did. They even offered to help me get money back from my first orthodontist after transferring. My Invisalign treatment is complete and I'm 100% satisfied with the result. I can chew properly and my smile looks great. The care and commitment they put into their work is better than anything else you will find in Chicago. Not only do they care about the aesthetic of your smile, they also care about the health of your teeth and bite long-term. If you choose West Loop Ortho, they will surpass your expectations by miles and you will have a great experience.

I'm visiting from out of town and unfortunately had the cement break on my permanent retainer. I called to make an appointment to see if they could repair it for me. I was told they don't have the cement to to do this. Thinking I made a mistake and called an office that only does Invisalign, I asked if they do traditional braces as well and was told they do. But that they don't have cement/glue for retainers. I asked if they knew any office that did and they said no. I find it hard to believe that an orthodontist does not use permanent retainers and could not offer at least a temporary fix for an out of town customer. Having seen orthodontists intermittently throughout the last 30 years, I have never encountered a situation like this. What do their regular patients do when these situations arise? I found a dentist that is willing to help.

Great service! I'm very happy with the results. One dentist said I would need metal braces to correct my bite, West Loop gave me a second opinion and they were able to correct my bite with Invisalign. The process took about a year and a half, but the staff was very knowledgeable, accurate, quick, flexible and kind. I don't remember any pain or discomfort, the process was very easy and affordable.I highly recommend them and I have a beautiful smile that I am very happy with.

Im very happy so far with my orthodontic treatment. I relocated to Chicago and I completed Invisalign prior to arriving to Chicago. Unfortunately my old retainer broke and I came to WLO for consultation. It was very thorough consultation and found I needed further treatment. I’m very happy with Dr. Desai and my treatment plan. After every appointment I’m scheduled for follow up appointments at the front desk and they always accommodate my preferred time. I’m very grateful for the whole team including Edith and Dr Desai for helping bridge communication between myself and my oral surgeon. I don’t think I would get responses without them and I appreciate it
