Phenomenal service. I absolutely love my time here. The staff and doctor are an absolute treat. I am continuing treatment after having braces and Dr Pogo was understanding and took me on as her patient and it has been fantastic ever since. I look forward to having a beautiful smile one day. And I know this is the team to get me there.

Dr. Poggio and her staff are an absolute gold standard in professionalism and service. My daughter’s front teeth came out twisted and crooked after she lost her baby teeth. It was amazing how quickly her teeth began to straighten with her Invisalign within a matter of 3 months. She’s been feeling more confident with her new gorgeous smile. Knowledgeable, honest, well-explained, not pushy at all. Reception staff is super courteous. Office manager is cordial and explains in detail. Dr. Poggio is sweet and to the point. Overall, great experience, left feeling at ease. We've visited other ortho offices in the area that claim they are super, and fall very short of that. I am glad we found Otay Lakes Orthototics.

10/10 I would absolutely recommended this office if you are looking to get any orthodontic work done. The level of patient care is absolutely amazing and unlike anything I’ve experienced before! I chose this office to inquire about Invisalign because it was close to home and had some excellent reviews. The great reviews are definitely well deserved. The entire experience feels extremely personal to the point that I am greeted by my first name when I walk in! This may sound funny but I actually look forward to my appointments here. It’s such a calm and relaxing environment and all of the employees I’ve interacted with are absolutely amazing. If anyone asks me I will definitely be recommending Otay Lakes Orthodontics & Dr. Poggio.

I have never had such a positive experience at an orthodontist before! First off they were able to get me in for an appointment way sooner than I expected. I had to take my 15M old daughter with me and they were all so patient and understanding. Giving her paper and crayons to color and letting her stay with me every step of the way. The doctor and staff were all amazing and I left feeling like there was a solid plan and had no questions. They do not pressure you to do treatments and took the time to explain everything. 100000% recommended!!

Dr. Poggio and all the staff are amazing. I have been coming here for the past two years, to prepare for jaw surgery and Dr. Poggio worked closely with my surgeon to ensure everything was excellent. I cannot express it enough they are top notch amazing.Update: I officially completed my almost four years of treatment and appointments. I am so happy with everything, everyone here is amazing and have done a wonderful job. I highly recommended coming here. You will not regret anything.

I just had my last appointment ever with Dr. Poggio and the team today. I have been seeing them for 5 years since I am an adult who went with the Invisalign path and my smile took a while to correct. Every single time I walked in, it felt like family. I’m going to sincerely miss all the faces who were so friendly and helpful during my orthodontia process.Thank you so much Dr. Poggio, Rita and the rest of the awesome Otay Lakes Orthodontics team! I will be sure to refer anyone looking for a better smile to you.

We are at the end of my son (Donovan) time with braces, this has been the best experience from beginning to end. Today everyone was just as excited as we are to have his braces removed. From the front office to the back office EVERYONE is amazing.You will not find a better orthodontist in this area, they are the best. In the couple of years we have been coming here we have not had one bad experience.Satisfied Mom!

The service was good. I honestly enjoyed working with the gal who took my photos. I had made an appointment to replace my upper retainer ONLY. I gave two stars because I was told that if I took x-rays, it was complimentary because it was my first visit. I said to Lola that I would do them as long as I don't have to pay for them. She said OK and I took x-rays. After my exam, I got an estimate that had two charges and I was told that the larger amount included new patient services, my top retainer and a follow up appointment. This amount was $135 more than what I paid for both my top and bottom retainer at another orthodontist but for the sake of convenience, I agreed to proceed. When I was checking out, my total was almost $600! I was told that the two amounts are added and that the x-rays were included in that amount because it's only complimentary to new patients that do not get service. There was no total amount on the estimate I was given, nor was it explained that I would have to pay both amounts. Bottom line is that I would have NEVER paid almost $600 for only a top retainer when I could get top and bottom retainer for $225 plus a 20 min drive.
