Bird and Johnson, Oral Surgery

It was my first time going to see Dr. Johnson for a complex tooth extraction. I normally have high anxiety visiting the dentist because of a bad experience I had with a dentist when I was a teenager but I have to say that Dr. Johnson was excellent. He calmed my nerves down and did a phenomenal job. I thought it was going to be a painful and time consuming extraction but it wasn't. It felt like maybe 2 minutes and out it came. He said, "all done." I said, done? It was fast and painless. Him and his entire staff were professional and courteous. I definitely would recommend him to family, friends and anyone in need of dental work. Job well done, Dr. Johnson! Thank you.

I have had, counting this time, 2 teeth removed that 1 was cracked all the way down the tooth to root end, removed by Dr. Bird (90's)and #2 removed by Dr Johnson. (2024) I was sedated both times and when I came out of it was told all went well and to go with instructions till follow up and did this. 90's tooth was a breeze and no problems at all! Second tooth all was well( Broke tooth under Crown) with it too. Both Dr. and there are great at what they do and after listening to others people used this was a no brainer! Tech's Jessica & Ashley were real good at helping with assisting both Dr.s I had a few bone chips come through on first one ( This is normal especially if tooth is damaged bad. 2nd tooth will take longer as I am an old guy now and we heal slower. My advice is Dr. Jay A. Johnson. Professional , explains everything in detail to assure you of what will take place and the sedation was great for if you want or as with me he stated I needed to be and I totally agreed. Came out of sedation quickly and was on my way home to recuperate. Not only are they great at Oral Surgery but pricing was nearly 1/2 of what most people were charging huge $$$ for sedation. So if you need wisdom teeth or facial surgery Dr. Johnson is the man to see!

I went today for a tooth extraction and bone graft for future implant. The staff is very kind and helpful. From front desk to assistant to surgeon I can only say superb. Dr. Johnson is professional, kind, and extremely skillful. It’s been less than 6 hours since the extraction of my molar and I can’t believe I feel no discomfort. Highly recommend this practice. 1st visit for consult and it was very nice! From the admins, assistants and the doctor, everyone treated you professionally and made you feel very comfortable. The Doctor explained everything that he would do and the possible outcomes. Didn't just try and say you needed something when you weren't a candidate for it. Loved the honesty and what to expect.Update 1/17/24:Had Oral surgery yesterday on my front teeth and it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, although I got the happy sauce, so I wasn't that aware of everything, but nonetheless, it was as good as it was going to be.In the end, I highly recommend Bird and Johnson Oral Surgery!Update 1/25/24:One week follow up after surgery went well. Surprised that they removed the stitches one week later. All good for now and let the healing begin!!

Dr. Johnson removed all my teeth and placed 6 implants the day of my surgery. Surgery went very well and I have no complaints. Part of my stitches were removed one week post-op and the remaining stitches removed 2 weeks post-op. Dr. Johnson is incredible and his staff as well. I would recommend Dr. Johnson over any dentist I've used.

Dr.Johnson was very friendly & explained everything that was going to happen, his bed side manor was excellent. His assistant was very friendly and kind. With my past experiences with oral surgery I had very high anxiety going into this appointment but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would recommend his office for anyone looking. They may be booked up but it’s for good reason - his front desk ladies were very easy to work with to book an appointment. Thank you all ♥️

Dr. Johnson and his staff are absolutely amazing. From the ladies at reception to the sweet nurse in the back! Dr. Johnson did my wisdom teeth removal and was phenomenal. I was told by multiple oral surgeons that it would practically be impossible and his confidence in the procedure had me at ease from beginning to end. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!!!

My wife is a patient of Dr. Johnson, and she absolutely loves him. He exudes self-confidence, and continually reassures his patients throughout the procedure. His assistants are very caring. I received succinct instructions following my wife’s tooth removal from one of his assistants, and she personally wheeled my wife down to the office of our dentist (in the same building), as my wife had been under sedation. She highly recommends Dr. Johnson for your oral surgery procedures.

I actually received a big " Welcome to our office" from a very friendly receptionist. I thought, this is different. Beautiful office space with a river view. Courteous staff. They explained how they manage insurance coverage. Very friendly and caring environment. I felt I could trust the doctor.I would have liked to have been able to complete the paperwork ahead of time in email.At the end of my appointment, I was given a red carnation. The receptionist said the office has been giving away flowers since the 80s.
