After receiving partials that fit terribly I was informed that some patients you just can't help..I then was asked what I expected them to do I said I'd just like to have what I paid for I was then informed that I didn't pay the VA payed for them WOW!! talk about insulting..also after 2 cleanings I had 2 point out a cavity that I guess they couldn't see why I have no idea so anyways based on this I'm going 1 star this place should be shut dwn .

Very friendly staff, who demonstrate superior skills. Lily, an excellent hygenist, made my visit wonderful. She took away any anxiety I had with her calm and professional demeanor. My dentist was direct, to the point, and discussed everything and made sure any questions I had were answered. They even have sunglasses so that it is easier on your eyes when you are staring up at the lights! Overall a great experience that left me very satisfied I am a patient at the practice ☺️

I'm a new client and my first visit was having an impacted wisdom tooth taken out, Dr. Dan Steinke performed the procedure. Their team got me in quickly and everyone was super nice and very informative. Dan even called me the next night to check on me and see how I was doing. That alone says a lot about the practice!! Being a newbie to Central Maine Smiles, I was impressed with the team and the practice.

I have the best hygienist and dental practitioners. I always have a great experience here. After the pandemic as a healthcare professional I was told I had one more chance to make an appointment in January or they would no longer see me. I had previous cancellation due to an extremely demanding work schedule. I always canceled and never No showed. I will be taking my dental care elsewhere and was never offered an appointment after requesting my medical records even though I asked to be seen again. Also, when asking to speak to the office manager or the dentist directly I was railroaded by the office staff and argued with by Nicole.

I saw Jolene today, and she’s by far, the BEST!! She’s great at her job, friendly, very informative, and mostly, great with her instruments. At my past dental office, I’d end up having a “mini shower”.This dental office has the best staff. Friendly, courteous, helpful.

Have you ever stopped to consider the role dentists play in patients' decision to have all their teeth removed and get dentures? I have Medicare and a supplemental insurance, neither of which provides any dental benefits. I was just charged $322 for a very simple, no Novacain filling, took about 5 minutes. I know dentists have to make a living just like everyone else but in my opinion this is way over the top.

I can’t praise Dr Steinke or Dr Caruso and their staff enough! As a lifelong patient with a MAJOR gap in time (10 years) since I went for care they went above and beyond and were so compassionate and not only alleviated my concerns, made me feel like there was no time in between at all! Amanda was wonderful and made my teeth SO pretty and clean! Thank you Steinke and Caruso dental for your compassion and expertise!

Came in for first cleaning as new patient. Dr. Caruso and the technicians were all kind and helpful! They walked me through my insurance coverage, discussed affordability, and created a care plan for my needs. Gentle and high quality care. They communicated with me about things to keep an eye on but there was no pressure to do work I didn’t truly need. Thank you :)

Yesterday was my first visit. The new patient intake process was detailed, including a review of my previous dental history, and to my pleasant surprise a short introductory visit with Dr. Caruso. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to answer all my questions. The impressive equipment used in the exam room demonstrated to me that keeping current with the latest dental technology is a high priority for the practice. When I left I received a “goodie bag” that among other things included a battery powered toothbrush. I enjoyed my visit and am happy to become a patient of Steinke & Caruso dental care.

Had a new night guard by this dentist to replace one that was 10 years old. My first lasted 10 years as well. The one I was given after a detailed needs analysis was inferior at it's best. I asked every question I could think of to be certain.I went back and forth with them and even sent a letter asking to have them make good on my teeth moving from the product not being what I expected. I apologized for getting bent out of shape a couple times as my teeth have been next to perfect and straight. Their night guard did not stand up to their claims even after refunding me.As you see, no reply from their office. Find another dentist that stands behind their products and service. They are too busy, bad service and unprofessional as medical professionals to uphold their oaths.
