Just left the office and I have to say it was a very pleasant visit! From checking in to out. Receptionist was lovely and the assistant who took my xrays was fast. Im sad i dont remember everyones names but the whole staff was awesome. Isa the hygienist did a great job with the prophy and was very detailed in her oral hygiene intructions. Dr. Bains was very attentative, professional and kept it short and sweet. Alexis at check out put a smile on my face!! Thank you guys!

BEWARE of prices change when you get to your appointment. This place will lead you into making appointments at a certain price, but will change the price when you in office for your appointment. One of the phrases they will use is “your insurance changes rates month to month” this is a lie, I recommend checking with your dental insurance first for a pre authorization bill.

****Please exercise caution when considering this clinic as I didn’t see the past reviews with same issues regarding cost. *** I encountered significant issues with the administrative processes at the clinic, leading to confusion and dissatisfaction with my treatment.During my consultation, I was informed that my entire dental procedure could be completed in one sitting due to having to be off medication for a significant period of time before and after treatment. A quote for my treatment plan was provided and thoroughly explained to me at that time by Alyssa.Unfortunately, upon contacting the clinic after completing the required medical clearance form, I received conflicting information regarding the cost of my treatment and me stating I need all treatment done same day. Despite asking for the amount twice for all treatment from the staff, I was provided with a different amount over the phone, less, compared to what was communicated to me upon arrival at the clinic. I was then given a new version, which I assumed to be identical to the plan discussed during my initial consultation when they asked if I brought my treatment plan and I said no. Upon reviewing the initial plan after payment, I discovered discrepancies in the quoted amounts. At that point, I felt compelled to proceed with the treatment, despite concerns about the accuracy of the charges, as my mouth was already numb, and delaying the procedure would have significant implications for my health as I can’t afford to be off my medication for an extended period but ending up will still having to find another provider elsewhere to complete treatment that was not provided even after relating over the phone and at appointment several times.I am deeply disappointed by the service provided by the rude administrative staff at Sun Ridge Smiles. Instead of taking accountability for the discrepancies, they attempted to shift blame onto the GEHA insurance representative with whom they had spoken during my initial consultation. I was informed by the office manager that communication with the owner, who also served as the dentist I consulted with initially, was not going to happen and her would be “as far I’d get.” ****Please exercise caution when considering this clinic as I didn’t see the past reviews with same issues regarding cost. ***

I absolutely love this place… everyone is so kind and super helpful! Most places don't take too kindly to babies but my husband and my son (he’s 9 months) came with me and every single person was so sweet to my son. Everyone gave him kind smiles and amusing “hello”s to him and my son ate it up. I was able to receive treatment comfortably while my son watched Ms. Rachel with my husband. As I was receiving my treatment I was being well informed through the whole process. I have not once felt uncomfortable during my visit, during my visit I felt very at ease and very comfortable. This is only the second place I’ve been to seeing as I’ve seen my original dentist my whole life I very much prefer this place. When my son has his teeth growing in I look forward to taking him here.

My boyfriend had referred me here after he got a cleaning and his two wisdom teeth removed and I’m glad I decided to give this dental office a chance. All the staff from the receptionist to the dentist were very friendly and welcoming. I haven’t came to the dentist in almost two years and I was a bit nervous and insecure on how my teeth were. They were able to set up an entire plan for my teeth including my very painful wisdom teeth. I’ve been to two other dentist offices and by far this one is a 10/10 in El Paso 😊

Loved my first visit at Sun Ridge Smiles as soon as you walk in you feel very welcome. Devyn did a great job from my x-rays to assisting the Drs. Dr Acevedo and Amanda were amazing at making me feel comfortable and explaining everything to me. If you’re looking for a a new Dentist office or are new in El Paso and don’t know where to go I definitely recommend this office.

I really enjoy coming to Sun Ridge Smiles. All of the staff are very friendly from Roxanne in the front to the ladies in the back. Really enjoy having Amanda do my deep cleanings for me. She is very professional, polite, friendly, and takes her job very seriously so that you can have the best smile possible! The dentists are great as well. Very thorough. I have an adult son, who is disabled, and they treat him kind and take care of him excellent here. I would highly recommend this office!

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS DENTIST OFFICE. IT WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME, BUT THEY FAILED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MORE. FIRST I HAD PAID FOR TWO SERVICED IN ADVANCE. THEY SCHEDULED ME IN AND WHEN I GOT THERE THEY SAID THEY ONLY HAD ONE IN THE SYSTEM. THEY APOLOGIZED AND SAID THERE HAD BEEN AN ERROR. SECOND ONE OF THE DENTIST ASSISTANT WAS VERY RUDE. SHE HIT ME WITH ONE OF THE DENTIST TOOLS IN MY MOUTH AND WOULD MAKE RUDE COMMENTS WHEN I COULDN'T OPEN MY MOUTH WHERE SHE WANTED TO. THE THIRSD IS WHEN I GAVE UP ON THE DENTIST OFFICE AND WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNHAPPY. I WENT IN FOR MY OTHER SERVICE THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO DO IN THE PAST, WHEN I WALKED OUT THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PREVIOUS TREATMENT THEY HAD DONE THE INSURANCE WAS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR IT. I HAD ALREADY PAID MY PATIENT CO-PAY OF $421, AND THEY STILL WANTED ME TO PAY EXTRA $400 TODAY, BECAUSE THEY WERE UNAWARE THE INSURANCE DID NOT COVER THAT. THE LADY APOLOGIZED AND SAID IT HAD BEEN HER ERROR FOR NOT CHECKING PRIOR TO GETTING THE SERVICE DONE. WHEN I ASKED IF THEY COULD HELP ME BECAUSE THEY WERE THE ONES AT FAULT SHE JUST SAID SHE WORKED THERE AND SHE COULD HELP ME WITH PAYMENT PLANS. I LEFT VERY ANGRY AND CONTACTED MY INSURANCE WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD PAID YESTERDAY FOR THE SERVICE. THEY ARE NOT VERY DISORGANIZED. I CALLED THEM TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE PAYMENT AND SAID AND I QUOTE " OH I JUST CHECKED AGAIN AND WE RECEIVED PAYMENT". NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER FOR THEIR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Loved this dentist came in for a 6 month recare dr.Acevedo was amazing gentle and very informative, assistants was very educating on my oral health and alexis hands down explained everything with soo much knowledge she was soo nice and understood my budget my next appointment is Wednesday for treatment and i know ill be in best hands thank you alexis and doctor for being sooo amazingg

Visited this location for the first time. The person who took my x-rays appeared to be inexperienced. The moving x-ray machine rubber against my shoulder. Machine was not set to the right height. Same person took repeated seated x-rays. It was obvious she messed up several times. Soon after, the dentist appeared. HE did a quick check of the x-rays and my teeth and that was that. I was then seen by a hygienist who looked at my teeth and stated everything looked great. Meaning, I was done. When asked if she was going to clean my teeth, she was surprised. She noted that if I wanted a cleaning it would be in another half hour. In all of my 58 years I've never experienced this type of service or lack of service and inexperience. Has anyone one else had the same experience at this location?
