Dr. Machado and the team do a fantastic job! Our son had some timidness and defensiveness with oral work since he had previous facial surgeries. We were worried early intervention with an expander would be too hard for him to manage emotionally. Dr. Machado has a very friendly nature and put him at ease from the first appointment. She is encouraging and the whole experience was perfect. We finished his treatment right on time and if any issue came up the staff provided us an immediate response and helped resolve it as soon as possible. His teeth look amazing and it improved how he felt about himself. Would 100% recommend.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Machado and her staff!My son started treatment at Smiles for Life when he was 8 (he is now almost 15) and he has gone from an expander, to braces, to a retainer, to spark trays, and now at a retainer again. Every step of the way has been so easy and we have always been comfortable with the treatment. And now my daughter (8yrs. old) is here starting with her expander. We are so thankful for everyone at Smiles for Life being a part of our kids' journeys to wonderful smiles!

Smiles for life is the best. The people working there are so sweet. Special shoutout to the front desk workers! (Not that I don’t care about the orthodontists, but the front counter workers are very nice and happily go the extra mile for you). Smiles for life is also is very accommodating with last minute appointments and emergencies. One of the reasons we chose them was because of their approach. Their costs and treatment plan length were comparable with other orthodontists, however Dr. Machado was able to gradually increase the amount of hardware for my daughter instead of putting everything on at once causing it to hurt more. Definitely recommend.

Dr.Machado and her team at Smiles for Life are AMAZING! From the initial visit to the end of treatment- our daughter has received the very best care! When we first started looking into orthodontic treatment, we interviewed several providers and Dr.M was by far the most thorough and diligent with her plan to correct the underbite and misalignment- paying careful attention to details that others had never even mentioned. She has done an exceptional job with the corrections- in less time than we had anticipated and with only 1 set of braces! Dr.M and her team are all very professional, welcoming and most importantly kind. They are always very accommodating and happy to work with our schedule- between school and activities they have always done their best to make the times convenient for us. Our son is also in the beginning stages of treatment and when the time comes (and it will) we will be adding our 3 year old. 10/10 recommend Smiles for Life!

I went to Dr. Machdo for a second opinion on my sons impacted canine. Not only did she affirm that I was on the correct path with my current orthodontist, she put up big pictures of his teeth on the screen and showed me with a pointer the path the tooth would be coming down. I had been craving this information and had never fully understood the process. She is a great teacher, she speaks very simply and uses visuals and really empowers the parent with knowledge. I also really respect she didn’t just scoop me up and try to get me as new patient. She took the time to educate me and let me know that I was in good hands.

The team at Smiles for Life goes above and beyond. I was already impressed with their professionalism and care of my son with his orthodontic treatment. I’m an older patient who is getting my teeth straightened for my second time. The first was as an early teen when I didn’t use my retainer as instructed.
