ROOT Periodontal & Implant Center - Frisco

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I had an exceptional experience at Root Frisco under the care of Dr. Asfia Husain. Unfortunately my whole life I avoided the dentist as much as possible because every dentist that treated me in the past made the experience not a good one; to say the least. Unfortunately this is why I had to come see a Periodontist; I had a phobia to dentist and did not see one as regularly as I should. But from the moment I walked in, the ambiance from the entire staff was inviting and calming. Dr. Husain's professionalism and expertise were evident throughout my visit. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided care that exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Root Frisco and Dr. Asfia Husain to anyone seeking top-notch dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Do yourself a favor and come see her if you are in need of a periodontist!

I had to have a gum graft procedure right before Christmas and am so glad this is where my dentist referred me to. I was terrified of this surgery and had a lot of anxiety over it. But Dr. Husain and her staff were more than comforting and reassuring. Recovery was rough, but successful, and they were available through text anytime I needed them, before, during and after surgery. My paranoia had me contacting them a lot and they never hesitated to get me in if just to ease my mind. Lol I’m nearly 3 months post-op and I never thought the words, “I’m so proud of my gums” would ever come out of my mouth, but I have driven my husband crazy, bragging about how good they look. Lol! 😆 Every time I go in for a followup, the entire staff is so friendly and personable. The only downside of not having to go in for follow-ups once mine are complete is that I won’t get to see Dr. Husain anymore. 😂 If you need any periodontal work done, I cannot recommend Dr. Husain at ROOT, in Frisco enough. Extremely happy with the care I have, and continue to receive.

Every single person who works here is so amazing. Heidi went above and beyond for me and I am so thankful. I had obstacle after obstacle on my end and Heidi thought of every possible solution to help me out. I actually wasn't going to schedule my surgery with them only because of scheduling differences mainly on my end, but then Heidi called me back and even offered to see if the doctor at a different location could come meet me at their frisco location so I could get my surgery done sooner. Just having her offer that meant the world to me and I knew right then I had to make it work on my end to get my surgery done with root. Thank you to everyone there who has taken care of me these past couple times I've had to come in, you guys are all the best!!!

The staff at Root is the BEST in Frisco! The Doctors, hygienist, managers and all staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. You’ll love your results!! I DO!Sheila

I would give Root 100 stars if I could! Dr. Husain and her team are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met in a setting like this! My first dental implant failed after 12 years, and I went to Dr. Husain to get it removed and redone. I have an extreme fear of anything dental related, and she and her team took such good care of me that a lot of those fears have subsided. She is truly the BEST in the DFW area, and I'm so grateful that I was her patient for the last year and a half. Run don't walk to Root if you are in need of the services they provide!

I simply can’t speak highly enough of the team at Root Periodontal. I’ve gone there for several procedures over the last couple of years as I’m paying the price of being a lifelong severe teeth grinder. Dr Husain and the entire team at Root have made the process as painless ( literally and figuratively)as possible. They are a highly skilled group of professionals and very pleasant to be around. After an extended time of jaw and ear pain, and an unsuccessful visit to my (now) previous dentist (who did absolutely nothing for me), I discovered a broken tooth late on a Thursday evening. I was able to get an emergency appointment at a different dentist. After reviewing the situation, they determined that the tooth had to come out. Because I had been in so much pain for so long, they called around to find a surgeon that would get me in same day. At 8:00 am the dentist called, and Root of Frisco was able to fit me in at 9:30 the same day. Once there, they treated me with kindness and sympathy. They moved with urgency but remained gentle. The staff explained everything along the way and made sure that I was comfortable with the entire process. When complications arose (no fault of Dr. Husain…my tooth did not want to participate in said procedure 😊), and IV sedation was going to be required, they called into another location and got a surgical appointment (again same day) set up for me within a few hours. Then Dr. Husain came from Frisco to Flower Mound to complete my procedure. Through tears and panic, everyone there was so considerate and kind. I have never had such a difficult experience go as smoothly and with such compassion as I received at Root. Thank you to Dr. Husain and her whole team!

I just had the most amazing experience at this clinic in Frisco. I was a nervous wreck but Dr. Husain and her staff were so kind, warm and caring that I felt completely at ease during my procedure. Dr. Husain talked me through my anxiety and explained everything thoroughly! I highly recommend this periodontist to anyone looking to get exceptional care.

Let me tell you when I say I’m afraid of any and all dental work I do not exaggerate. In 15 years I finally found someone to work on me that put me at ease!From check in, to nurses to the technicians, from anesthesiologist to the doctor all amazing folks that obviously care about the pt and the work they do.So glad I was referred here and definitely will be taking better care of my oral hygiene going forward because of this time!Had oral surgery yesterday and looking forward to some great outcomes.
