Mint Dentistry-Galveston. Convenient location on the Seawall. The staff is friendly and attentive. Every accommodation is thought of from use of iPads and Beats, Netflix or Pandora, heated massage chairs, UV sunglasses, thorough examinations and treatments. Clear explanations with detailed plans given. Every concern is addressed. I left with all the items needed to continue proper dental care at home, plus a few extra treats! Good job Mint!!

My appointment for a crown today was with Dr. Syed and his assistant Coco. It was really a great experience. Dr. Syed took the time to explain my options and did not rush me through my thought process. Coco did a great job and was very pleasant. And then upon checking out the front staff, Taylre, and Myesha we’re happy to help to try to get things done in a timely manner. I very much appreciated all four of their help today and making it a great experience.

I went to Mint Dentistrt on the recommendation of a friend. It was a great decision to go. The staff is friendly, caring, at tentative and man do you feel like you just walked in for a me day. They turned on the TV, offered me water, gave me cool glasses to protect my eye and the put on the massage chair. What a way to relax and have your tooth fixed. Not to mention they were half the price of the other dentist I went to. Twice the service half the price.

The staff at the Galveston office have renewed my faith in dentists. They listen!!! I needed two crowns and a night bite guard for my grinding. When I started the process I was in constant facial and tooth pain from grinding my teeth. After getting the night guard, my face and tooth pain were 80% better the next day. I needed to have the guard slightly adjusted to achieve total comfort and was able to get that done the day I called. I don't live in Galveston-just visiting, but I'm going to schedule my dental work for when I'm in the area and make them my go-to dental office.

Rez, coco, and dr Gonzalez were all very helpful I was a little nervous coming in at first because of my past experiences at other dentist offices not only did they let me know exactly what was going on while it was going on they were and are very accommodating, great attitudes, the service is non other. They answered all my questions no matter how ridiculous if I could give them a 10 star rating I would!! And the 3 mentioned above did a wonderful job, everyone else who’s names I didn’t catch were also very polite and helpful through the whole progress, so if you’re looking for a new dentistry you can’t go anywhere but mint 10/10

My initial visit went well enough. Pleasant intake and amenities for a dentist office and I appreciated the whitening service they offered. It wasn't until the (strongly recommended 6 month follow-up) that my opinion has changed.Upon entering my appointment, I had x2 new concentration forms pushed at my and told I needed to sign with 0 explanation or why there was a change between my last visit and the 6 month follow-up. Also, one of the 2 forms was missing key information that was "to be filled in later" and had drastically different ramifications. So essentially, I was signing a document to cover their butts without even clearly identifying what I was committing to or an explanation of each circumstance listed on the form. You should NEVER sign a document that is shoved in your face with no explanation and blanks "to be filled in later" unless you assume all the consequences for all possibilities. This was extremely unsettling and disconcerting, especially after I inquired about the form and options and was responded to like I was an idiot, still no explanation of each scenario, and told verbally that they would 'of course only select the specific one I was in for that day.'After that, I got back in a room and into the chair. As soon as I sat down, it was stated to me in an affirmative sentence that I was going to be getting x-rays. Except I just got x-rays done during my last visit less than 6 months ago. So I asked them why I needed to re-take x-rays when I just had them done. At this point, they quickly backtracked and told me I didn't need to re-take them within 12 months and that I needed to sign a waver agreeing to all the risks involved with not re-taking the x-rayI then proceeded to wait "in the chair" for 50 minutes before I was told that the dentist was running late and was asked to wait another 30 minutes.Note: They have a clause in their financial policy that states that if you cancel a cleaning appointment less than 24 hours in advance, that yoy will be charged $50.I can understand that life happens and things happen to disrupt our schedules, even for dentists, but if you're going to charge me $50 for canceling without 24 hour notice then you should also be ready to reimburse your clients $50 for canceling due to whatever caused your delay. It cost me more than $125 to take off the time I needed to get to the dentist today during business hours. I will likely not be going back, or if I do, I definitely won't be going back every 6 months.Hope you have a better experience and that they can improve their professionalism and transparency.

What an amazing office!! The front desk is very welcoming. The office manager literally went above and beyond this morning ! There was an older couple that was struggling to climb the outside stairs and she went out and walked her in! I thought that was so sweet you don’t see much of things like that… my cleaning went amazing even as a deep cleaning, painless ! The assistant was very tentative. I will be back this was my second visit and so glad I made the choice to come here

I had such an wonderful time at Mint Dentistry, well actually I was sleep most of the visit. Once I was in that massage chair, I was over and out. But, I did stay awake long enough for them to ask me what did I want to watch on T.V., and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The staff, very very kind and friendly, all smiles.... thank for a new refreshing feeling and a different atmosphere. Much needed.

My first visit was amazing and I left a 5 star review. But today, the dentist is running an hour late. No apology, no explanation. I inquired as to how common this is and she brushed it off that “sometimes it happens”. I’ll come back once more, for 2 out of 3. Very frustrated and disappointed.I feel I need to leave the review I made, for a wait that long is unacceptable. However…….I received a call the next day with a sincere apology and offer of some compensation. I have never experienced such care. So, they are back to 5 Star in my book!

ATTN DR HARRISON! TAYLOR IS VERY RUDE! She dosent communicate. She rolls her eyes. The assistants sit on the front counter chatted and and laughed while i waited. My teenage kids witnessed something else i wont talk about. I also heard them talking about other patients. I heard all their dirty secrets. I sat 45min before they told me i was free to go. Kim the hygentist was exceptional. The dr was good also. Try to avoid this place unless you get kim the hygentist. Taylor needs to learn about HIPPA!
