My son Levi has been in treatment for over 2 years with 8 months to go. We are paid in full and are relocating to another state far away. I sacrificed get bracers for him to lift his self esteem and determination to live. Levi has one kidney and on the Transplant list for renal failure. I tried getting refund for the next 8 months of treatment since we will not be here to complete it. Despite our situation I was refused any refund. Levi is very sad and disappointed because there has not been any significant change in his appearance since bracers treatment 😢The same day I posted this review I got a phone call from the manager asking me to remove it without a solution to my issue. The company offered me $500 to take down my review. My son now is on dialysis.

My experience at straight set orthodontics was the best. The staff was always compassionate and asking exactly what I need and if im in any pain, when it came to taking off the braces they prepared me off everything that happens while taking them off and what happens after. I now have retainers in and my experience here is only getting better

All of the doctors and staff at Straight Set Orthodontist truly care about their patients' well-being and results. From my first consultation, I was impressed by their thorough explanations and personalized treatment plan. I had my braces treatment done here, which was a good experience when sean was there. I only had one problem with one of the staff Maggie she was very aggressive with my teeth and laughed when she poked my gums. After that i only asked for naz she is amazing. Dr gupta was also very good to bad he left. They keep changing front desk so you lose communication who you talking to. I figured since i had a somewhat good experience i took my younger sister. We went for consultation and was told to wait a month till they get a response from the insurance. The guy who I guess is in charge now of authorization kept pushing a payment plan. I told him i was going to wait till the insurance made a decision and he assured me the insurance will not approve it. I had to keep calling the office and ask if the insurance got back to them. We went a second time because the insurance needed more xrays. After long weeks of waiting i called the insurance company for them to tell him they didn’t send the forms correctly and they can’t approve anything till than. I kept calling the office ever time they would tell me that the insurance denied it. I am not sure what kind of billing department they have because they don’t do their job. I ended up taking my sister to another office in Merrick i went last Tuesday they examined her and today her insurance called that they approved it. So don’t waste your time or money on a office that doesn’t care about their patients. If they want to deal with just commercial insurances or cash payments they should make that public. I would never recommend this office nor go back for my self. Disappointed i even did my treatment with them.

In addition to the great work that Straight set has done always done for my teeth it’s always a warm and welcoming place. Maggie has watched me grow from a teenager to an adult. Every couple of years I return to update my retainer and every time I come it I’m greeted with huge smiles. I definitely recommend playing them a visit. When you do make sure you say hi to Maggie for me.

I went into the office today and never in my life experienced a situation like today, a patient was expressing concern about staff members discussing her financial situation in front of patients, I must admit I heard the exchange of information, and I as well had a bad experience today, let’s just say I will never recommend anyone to go there, or go back there myself.

My daughter got her braces here, they work with insurance and have convenient payment options. The care is exceptional from the 1st consultation to making her comfortable at her 1st appointment. It was her first time getting braces so she was a little nervous and the staff made her experience very comfortable and continue to do a great job at follow up visits. They are always accommodating with appointment scheduling, we simply love this place! I only get the best for my baby girl!

I love going to the Garden City office, all the girls are super sweet and professional. The place is always clean and the decor is very nice. I never have to wait long to been seen after arrival and when I go with my daughter they always nice with her as well. She even got some toys for her good behavior while she waited for me to be seen.
