So excited I came across this office. Everyone I've encountered was genuinely pleasant and friendly. They have a great team, set up and the office is clean/bright. They have a gaming room for the kids and even tho I'm using their services for myself as an adult, I really appreciate their accommodations. They even put the pronunciation of my name in their system. It's the little things :) Highly Recommended!

I couldn’t be happier with Southshore Orthodontics! My oldest daughter had her braces on for just over a year, and she is so thrilled with the smile she had since getting her braces off.Her sister will only have had hers on for 15 months, and she’s happy with the progress made so far.They are friendly, helpful, communicative, responsive, and so easy to work with!There is also a sibling discount, so that helps when you have multiple children.I am so grateful that we worked with Southshore Orthodontics!

Overall, we have enjoyed our experience here and we got the results our daughter was looking to achieve.My biggest suggestion for this office is improve on timeliness. It has become a trend that I’m waiting at least a half hour past my appointment time. Today, it was close to 40 minutes past my appointment. I’m unsure if it’s patient to doctor ratio problem or just my luck but appointments that should be 10 minutes long turn into an hour or more.

We have had the ABSOLUTE BEST experience with SouthShore Orthodontics!!! My son’s case was very complicated and the doctors and team handled every aspect with expertise and care. My son was extremely nervous about getting work done, but after he sat down with Dr. Matt all the worry vanished. Throughout his treatment we met with multiple team members including Dr. Mary. We could not be happier with our overall experience!! Everyone is wonderful. My son’s confidence is beaming with his new smile. We cannot thank you enough!!!!

Dr Matt and all his staff are super amazing and are a true pleasure to work with. I have all but great experiences with this team and they are affordable compared to other providers. They front desk staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. I would have given them more stars if I could. Great job and keep up the great work!

I thought Dr. Mary Shehata was nice, but I soon realized how condescending she really is. This medical "professional" had the audacity to call me “too sensitive”. Since when does an employee at a business have the right to say what they think about a paying customer? Especially when it's not true. It was just a nasty jab. Her behavior was precipitated when I tried to explain to her the scene that a non-patient had made in the lobby earlier that day.The daughter of the non-patient, who looked like a member of the Insane Clown Posse, kicked my foot. This brat...I mean little girl told her mom I gave her a nasty look. I explained to her mother that her daughter kicked my foot. Her mother asked her if she said sorry. The little girl started crying. The mother told her daughter that I should've sat back in my seat. This was ridiculous. There was so much room in that office that the girl should not have made any contact with me. The girl started crying and her mom continued to make a fool out of herself and her daughter.Two of the front desk staff instigated the hostile non-patient by laughing. Not only was I a patient, but the rest of my family was as well. Having to endure the behavior of that belligerent woman, who wasn't even a patient, was just the beginning. The office manager stated she does not make excuses for her staff's behavior, but that's all she did. I told the office manager that my family would not be back. The office manager and Shehata proceeded to tell me that I should think about it and not make a rash decision. Who the heck do they think they are? They couldn't care less about my family. My family did not need a payment plan. We paid in full. So SouthShore Orthodontics can keep the one unstable non-patient and lose three others because we have found a better and more professional orthodontist’s office.I changed my star rating for SouthShore Orthodontics from 1 star to 5 stars only because of Dr. Ahrens. He swooped in with professionalism and kindness. If my family only worked with Dr. Ahrens we would still be patients at SouthShore Orthodontics. Although the paperwork I requested was incomplete, I was happy to receive something. If it wasn't for Dr. Ahrens nothing would have happened.

I had the best experience with Southshore Orthodontics! I had braces as a kid but of course didn’t wear my retainers so I wound up going to Dr. Ahrens for Invisalign treatment as an adult. The entire process was completely seamless, from the first appointment and imaging to finishing up treatment. Dr. Ahrens was so kind and professional, it was a joy to visit the office. We have since moved away from the area but I’ve contemplating making the drive back for my kids when they need braces because of how awesome the atmosphere was! You won’t be disappointed if you go to Southshore Orthodontics!

SouthShore made my whole experience from start to finish amazing. The front desk is so welcoming and kind! You truly feel cared for as soon as you walk into the building. Dr. Matt and Dr. Mary are exceptional at what they do. They made sure I was happy and comfortable from start to finish! I can not say enough great things about the whole staff. They are truly the best!

My daughter and I are both finishing our braces after a year at Southshore Orthodontics, and we have had the most wonderful experience! The front office staff is so friendly and helpful, and Dr. Matt and Dr. Mary have both been exceptional. I also had my eight-year-old son examined there and I was told he didn’t need any correction at this time. I truly believe they are very honest and do not recommend unnecessary treatments just to make money. I would highly recommend them!

I had my braces abroad for a year, and when I got here in Florida, I badly needed to find a new Ortho. I went to different places for prices and opinions. Southshore offered me a lesser amount than the other Orthodontics. Every time I go places like this, I always want to feel welcomed and feel comfortable. The clinic is very clean and organized. I like the vibes. Kudos to the staff, they were very nice and friendly and they are very helpful about your concerns. Also, for the two doctors, Dr. Mary and Dr. Matt is both amazing. I recommend this place!
