Dr.Gary has been an extraordinary provider. The entire team is trained and skilled to work with the Autistic community. They provide accommodations before we have to ask for accommodations. They are inclusive and demonstrate their knowledge when working with their patients on the Autism spectrum. They are flexible in the way they examine and ensure they provide equitable care. Dr.Gary went above and beyond to ensure our family has all the resources and support outside of the dental office. The SFTF team makes us feel welcomed and at ease each time we go for our visit.

My children have been patients here for about 15 years and we have always had great service. From the doctors to the front staff everyone is always so polite. On a recent visit to the ortho side Dr. Lorin took her time to explain the lengthy process in which my son is in with his braces. She listened to my concerns and I appreciated her honesty and detailed explanation on what to expect going forward. I will continue to refer friends and family to Smiles for the future.

From the front office, to the doctor....everyone was kind, and happy to see us. We came from a pediatric dental office that would talk over the children and hardly engage with them during the appointment making my daughter (Now 6 yrs old) not feel very comfortable. This office talks with her, asks her the questions and engages with her through the appointment. This is very important to us. Happy we switched to Smiles of the Future!

What an incredibly special place with the most talented people ! As a child , Dr Bob was my dentist and Dr Jung handled my orthodontics , and as an adult for the last 20 years I have brought and continue to bring my children, and I live an hour away. That’s how special these people are . I highly recommend . Your children are in really good hands at Smiles ! Thank you for all you do !!!

We had a wonderful cleaning today with Samantha. It’s the first time my 6 year old has sat through the entire cleaning! My boy is super anxious and Sam was tremendous at making him feel comfortable and at ease through the entire start to finish. Today we had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Laura and she exceeded our expections. We love it here!! Thanks so much and keep up the great work. 😊

Amazing experience from start to finish! Everyone there clearly loves working with kids - they were kind and knowledgeable. The process was organized and efficient. All of the doctors are wonderful and Dr. Laura was an absolute pro with our two little ones. Ringing endorsement from my 3 year old as we left the parking lot: “can we go to the dentist again now please?!”

After years of bringing both of my sons (10&12), I called two days before the 3:00pm appointment and BEGGED one of the receptionists to “give me 10 extra minutes to arrive so that I didn’t have to take time off from school…”. I was told in no uncertain termed that “NO”, that I HAD to be at the place at 3:00 “SHARP” otherwise they would cancel both appointments. I was able to bring only one of my boys because the other one couldn’t take time off from school (the bus arrives around 2:55pm and I live about 15 minutes from “Smiles for the future”). So I was only able to bring one of my boys instead of the planned 2 boys. They have this asinine requirement where you have to wait in your car- in the cold, in the heat; they could care less. But, get this: you are allowed to wait INSIDE the sterile cleaning facility. You can’t wait outside in the waiting room but you can wait either in your car or inside the sterile area of the facility. Does this make sense? Does any “rule” nowadays? After making me wait until 3:20, yes 20 MINUTES, in the car, I proceeded to enter the building and express my concern, my anger and disapproval of this total lack of consideration and professionalism. We as parents, as patients, as clients are expected to be ON TIME but they can take there merry time while we wait in our cold/hot cars. When I entered the building (we are fully vaccinated) we were greeted by a “well, if you want to change your appointment…”. They didn’t say: “Im sorry for your wait”. No: “We regret what happened…”. Nothing! Just the idiotic remark of wanting to “reschedule” my boy who was there on time! Of course, all of this incompetence and lack of consideration is all blamed on COVID so there’s little us, mere peons, can do about this. I am so disappointed. Now I have to go through this again and again and again…since they are The Dentists of Glastonbury and are otherwise a great group. Sad to say that as with other business, this one is not immune to the “Covid incompetence”. I will look for options, sad to say. You can read my previous review where I gave them 5 stars…. Everything has changed…for the worse! Friendly photo!!UPDATE: 10-11-22: Because I broke my legs skiing months ago I was denied a scheduled cleaning! This is just bizarre! I will look for another dentist. I’m done with this farce!UPDATE: 11/15/2023: I still take my two young boys to this dentist. They are friendly & professional. It’s convenient to have the orthodontist here as well. While I don’t use this office anymore, I will continue to bring my kids here. Their response to COVID was absurd but all that is over and I hope they learned something from our feedback during the COVID fiasco.I raised the rating from one star to four. They truly deserve better ratings.

So disappointed with this practice. The hygensist my son had here for his first cleaning when we moved here wasn't good with him at all . He didn't like the light and she had no patience with him . I spoke to the office manager to inform them I was switching she was extremely nice and said they would note his chart to give him specific hygienists. Wait, shouldn't all the hygienists be good with all kids ??!! We stayed but then today I was done . I had to change my sons appointment for July 9th and the woman said they are booking into Sept. Ummmm really ? Now, I understand that happens with doctor / dentist offices but it was how rude she was about it. I am shocked this office allows this . Speaking to some friends they knew exactly who I meant and some have even switched because of the rudeness. Dr . Gary is nice too bad this doesn't carry over with his staff . Best decision leaving this practice.

We love Smiles for the Future! My sons have been going to them since they were very young, around four years of age. They are kind and caring and very good with young children and that was what made us patients for life! My older son just finished with his braces and they were wonderful through that process as well. Their staff is extremely friendly and very good with all ages. It was always a pleasure to see them and I have never had any complaints, ever. I highly recommend them for all ages and all needs!

We have been going to Smiles for 11 years, which included regular exams and ortho. The staff, hygienists, and doctors are amazing. They make sure my kids are comfortable and at ease. I have a son who has a lot of anxiety, and they have always been very accommodating to his needs. Today is our last day (we are moving out of state), and they are rearranging all sorts of things to get my son's retainer completed and to get both my sons cleanings done. Highly recommend!
