I’ll start with the fact that the dental assistants and the front staff were very kind and informative. The woman at the front desk took extra time to explain and ensure that I understood the paperwork I was signing for my daughter’s x-rays and why they may be necessary. Although the dentist wasn’t able to treat my daughter in their office and referred us to a specialist, he was extremely kind and supportive and made sure to let me know that the issue we are having is mostly genetic, common and not my fault (this goes a long way to hear from a professional as moms who blame ourselves for everything!) The staff and dentist seemed to have great rapport and it made for a comfortable environment. Overall, an excellent experience and I will be returning with my other children!

I am delighted to share my experience with the exceptional dental care provided by Dr. Kiran and the entire team at Family Smiles of Granbury.When my 3 yr old daughter Christine was diagnosed with rampant tooth decay affecting 12 teeth, I was deeply concerned and sought professional dental assistance. Prior to discovering Family Smiles of Granbury, I had visited pediatric dentists in the Fort Worth area who recommended a general anesthesia approach for the necessary procedures, the bitterest experience was at Susan Roberts pediatric dentistry. That lady harshly told on our faces that she cannot do anything without general anesthesia. I was devasted to know when she scared me with this kind of half knowledged approach that would remain as a triggering point for depression both in the lives of me and my child. I personally regreat that me and my family had to meet such people who couldn't suggest a safer and hollistic approach to handle a 3 year old child's dental emergency.Breaking all our fears, Dr. Kiran proposed an alternative solution called oral conscious sedation.This incredible suggestion resonated with us and we decided to proceed under Dr. Kiran's guidance. By the grace of God, the outcome was phenomenal.Right from the moment we stepped into the clinic, the warm and welcoming atmosphere put us at ease. The staff at Family Smiles of Granbury demonstrated exceptional professionalism, ensuring that we felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process.Dr. Kiran's expertise was evident in his meticulous examination and precise treatment plan. He performed pulpotomy, extractions, and placed crowns whereever necessary, all with utmost care and attention to detail. Dr. Kiran's ability to explain each procedure in a manner we could comprehend was remarkable, easing any anxiety or fear we may have had.Moreover, the decision to opt for oral conscious sedation proved to be a game-changer in this whole episode. Dr. Kiran's expertise in this area, combined with his genuine concern for my daughter's well-being, allowed us to proceed with confidence. The sedation process was smooth and as expected, my daughter experienced no discomfort throughout the surgery. How can I say this? We were given monitors to catch up the entire surgery on live. Atlast, all of her affected teeth have been amazingly restored.The crowns that were placed blend seamlessly with her natural teeth, ensuring both aesthetics and functionality.I cannot emphasize enough the gratitude I have for Dr. Kiran and his team at Family Smiles. They have not only restored my daughter's oral health but have also instilled in her a positive outlook towards dental visits.I wholeheartedly recommend Family Smiles of Granbury to anyone seeking exceptional dental care for their family. My daughter always has the most wonderful visit. Dr. Ruby is an inspiration to my six-year-old. She always explains exactly what is going to happen and makes my daughter feel comfortable with any procedure that she performs.Also, Shamira made all necessary accommodations so my daughter could be comfortable at the moment of taking x-rays.Thank you Dr. Ruby and Shamira for all we appreciate you.

I've lived in Granbury all my life and have never met a more professional, caring, knowledgeable and loving dentist office staff than the people of Family Smiles. Patience and understanding with the willingness to care for each patients needs to the best of there abilities. The office attends 100% to the needs of the children with calm, loving encouragement leaving them with more smiles less tears. Family Smiles just like everyone on the reviews isn't perfect but they are a cut above the rest. I would suggest Family Smiles to everyone looking not just trying to be a number or a commission at other clinics but go here because the loving caring service here is top priority!

My family are new patients at this practice and have been SO impressed with the staff and provider. They have fair pricing that is easily broke down and understandable for the patient, with no hidden fees or surprises. They also offer fantastic in-house financing which makes needed, but expensive dental work attainable for us for the first time in years. Honestly though, the fair pricing and financing are only a small reason we like this place so much. The staff are AMAZING!! I have never seen a provider who was so thoughtful, kind, respectful and gentle with his staff. I was so blown away by his patience and kindness to his staff at my last visit that I had to stop to praise him. The provider is also top-notch to his patients and ensures you know every single step he is taking with a thorough explanation as to why he is taking that step.If you are looking for a dentist who is willing to work with you, educate you, treat you with respect and honesty who also has an incredible support staff then this is the dentistry office for you!I know this seems like a lot of praise for a dreaded dentist visit, but I truly cannot speak highly enough of this office.

UPDATE: (CHANGED TO 5 STARS)Just another example of how much this doctor cares about his patients and practice. I previously posted a review. I don’t normally give reviews, but found no other communication channel that wasn’t leading to the same area I was having difficulties with. Even in my previous post I stated the doctors and medical staff are five stars and amazing. That the only issue I had was with the front desk. Because the doctor and medical staff are amazing, I even deleted the other post. But today, I had an immediate need come up. The front desk did fit me in for same day. But what I, also, noticed was the changes. There was at least one person who was different at the front desk. And the others took more care with each person. I wasn’t brushed off, ignored, or gas lighted with vague answers. It did seem to be the care and service that they previously gave. Since I posted the three stars previously, I wanted to repost so I could update to show 5 stars and point out the changes in case anyone had the same experiences I did.Previous Post 12/14/2022 (GAVE 3 stars)Dentist (Doctor) and medical staff are 5 stars. Truly amazing. This is the only dentist that makes me feel comfortable and takes time to make sure I am not anxious. Lower rating is for front desk. Before the last year and half, front desk was amazing. Since then service level has gone down. Previously this year had multiple problems trying to get someone to call me back after extended delays with crown (multiple calls kept being told someone would call me back and never did), also billing issues with insurance filings they did, and most recently made specific appointment time way in advance, get there and there was a question regarding the amount of credit and services prepaid on my account. They couldn’t find the treatment plans that I had paid for. They needed a person from another location. I asked if they could go ahead and try to get me back to see the doctor while they worked on getting in touch with that person since I had made the appoint so far in advance. I was told no, even though they showed a credit already on the account and pending insurance filings that would have created even more of a credit. The question was how much of a credit. Ended up sitting there for half an hour and they still didn’t have answers, so had to just request a copy of the file and reschedule again, taking another morning off work later. I will go, strictly because of the doctor, but will make sure not to prepay for a whole treatment plan and keep all my receipts and copies.

Y'all lemme tell you!! I will absolutely recommend them to you, ya momma and ya grandma! They went above and beyond for my son in making sure his first experience was comfortable and quick..the bedside manner is perfect, I literally couldn't ask for a better team to be my son's dentist's! I can't wait to start going for myself,My hats off to Tiffany and the rest of the dental assistants because you guys rock!! Thank you again 💓

Love Dr. Hedge, Sarah, & Stephanie! They are the best. Making your dental experience the greatest.2 years later and still the best! Sarah is the nicest manager and Dr. Hegde is always professional. The front girls were great at explaining my insurance and setting up my appointment. The back girls are great at calming my girls durning X-rays and cleanings.

My 13 year old daughter has had a few bad experiences with dentists over the years. Just moving to Granbury Texas we needed to find her a good dentist. After the fourth dentist we ended up at Family smiles. The girls at the front desk are always smiling, extremely friendly and helpful. The dental assistants are amazing. They are kind, gentle and caring. They explained everything they were doing each step of the way. The dentist is 100% the best dentist I’ve ever seen. He’s thorough, kind and explains everything he’s doing each step of the way. I found explaining to the patient has been the difference between being comfortable and high anxiety.I want to publicly thank everyone one in this office for changing my daughters dental experience from fear to comfortable. Warms my heart every time we’re there to see my daughter smile and not cry at the dentist.
