H.O.S did so awesome taking care of me and my braces. I transferred in from another orthodontics office in Austin. They listened to my needs and even compromised with my wants lol 🤭 or not wants I should say 🤣. In my financial set back H.S.O worked with me and my finances so that I could still get treatment and not miss any appointments. They allowed me to tailor my braces experience in a way that I was comfortable. THANK YOU HOUSTON ORTHODONTIC SPECIALIST for an amazing experience!!

They are THE BEST. I’ve been visiting DR. Tabakman for 3 years now and let me tell you he is THE MOST amazing doctor/person I’ve ever met. He is super accommodating and really knows what he’s doing. His work is truly magic. Not only that his team is exceptionally friendly and amazing the whole staff is so warm and welcoming they are there to guide you at every step. I 100% recommend doctor tabakman and his team to everyone!!!

If Dr. Tabakman is suggesting extractions for your treatment proceed with caution!!! I went to Dr. Tabakman to correct my overbite and gummy smile. I loved my smile and just wanted to fine tune some imperfections. He recommended 4 bicuspid extractions, because it was the only way to correct my over jet in his professional opinion. I deeply regret it. In a year my mid-face structure has changed dramatically. I’ve attached an image of what my smile was before starting treatment and another comparing pre-treatment (left, April 2020) to post-treatment (right, Aug 2021). You can see my smile lines are deeper and my cheeks cave in from lack of support there. I haven’t lost any weight or done anything different to cause such a drastic change in a year.I’m halfway through treatment but had to move to AZ for school, so I went to 5 different orthodontist consultations to find an affordable transfer option. Instead I found ALL of them said they would have NEVER done extractions on an adult, because of the bone loss and facial changes associated with extractions. I’m so upset. I really thought it was all in my head and just my insecurities with braces. It wasn’t until the orthodontist all brought up their disagreement with what has been done that I realized how bad it is. I personally felt like Dr. Tabakman really downplayed the effects of extractions when that option was being presented to me. The orthos I consulted with in Az were much, much more detailed and informative.Now I face a hard choice of paying triple to work backwards to open up space to add implants or finish my treatment and hope for the best in regards to continuing changes from my extractions as I age.Dr. Tabakman’s staff is friendly and the customer service is great. Unfortunately, my treatment results SO FAR are not. I did not finish treatment with Dr. Tabakman because I had to move out of state, so I can’t fully review the “treatment”. However, I’m leaving this review as a warning against extractions.

Let me just say that this location gives top tier customer service every time I’m there! From the front end all the way to the back so much good energy & It’s so appreciated! I’ve struggled with poor customer service, unprofessional staff, & lousy dentistry work prior to coming here. But I love it here! And getting started with them was a smooth, fast, & easy transition from my previous dentist. #RealandHonestReview ! 🏆

Houston Orthodontic Specialists at Eldridge is a great place. My son had a flawless 22 months treatment to realign several upper and lower teeth. All the medical staff - assistants and doctors - is professional, competent and patient Everybody took their time to explain the journey of the brace treatment during the regular check-up visits. The place is also very clean and the front desk associate always welcomes guests with kindness.Our experience was simply outstanding.

It's very hard to get an appointment with them within a reasonable time frame. If you can't make it to one appointment due to work for example, then you look forward to not seeing them again for at least a month. In meanwhile you're stuck using the same Invisalign liner for way too long. If they're that busy, then they should limit how many new patients they take in.Update:Finished w/my dental treatment. Satisfied w/the outcome. Yes, it was hard to reschedule. But they were always friendly.

My experience was exceedingly great. I was greeted with a warm welcome from the receptionist soon as I walked in. The staff are professional with great customer service. I felt welcomed and comfortable the whole time. Everything was done in a timely manner. At the end of my appointment I receive a huge back pack filled with things. I will definitely recommend this office to my family and friends.

I love this place !! They are like another family to me , they take great care of me and my results are coming along great ! Toie is amazing , she is caring and loving and makes you feel comfortable through the entire process ! Everytime I would feel as if I can’t continue the process she walks me through with so much encouragement (: Karen is amazing as well, I had a rough day with my braces and she was so sweet and understanding, she went at a paste to allow me to few comfortable! Dr. Kahn was amazing! He explains everything so well and cares about you as a person and a patient ! Everyone is so sweet and loving and they make you feel at home and makes the process easy while preparing you to have amazing results !!! I recommend everyone to go and see them ! They are truly amazing

I love the West Houston location, the staff is absolutely amazing. I want to give a special thank you to Toie, Samantha, Codye and Erica for assisting me with no hesitation a couple of weeks ago when one of my brackets fell out, you guys took great care of me from the front desk to the chair and I greatly appreciate you for having patience with me. Houston Orthodontics is the best and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my smile 😁

Don’t waste your time and money on these doctors Dr TabakmanI feel so ripped off my teeth look worse than it was before I stress every day cannot sleep thinking about how I wasted my money and time.I worked so hard saving my money.when I try to talk to them about it I was told me it’s going to cost more money.They did not want to hear anything.Dr Tabakman seem to have no patience at all I believe he’s highly stressed out.Dr Muller, concern is getting you to sign up sign that contract $4000 later she doesn’t really care what your teeth look like.They go by a time limit put on braces for one year take it off after that and then at the end tell you it’s going to be another $500.00I just feel so ripped off by Dr. Muller she has a bad Attitude.
