❌❌❌❌I USE to love being a customer of Mint but the experience I received at the N Shepherd location was very uncomfortable and unpleasant! Appointment was for 3:00pm and wasn’t seen until 4:08pm for only them to tell me to go to another doctor for the crown they put in my mouth. I came in with an issue only to leave back with the same issue. Remind, I paid for this work already as well at the Hwy 6 location but recently moved downtown and seen they was the closest location but so tell you NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! Literally missed two days of work due to this incident. I was rushed and they was rude!!! I found a dentist down the street that made me feel so good🆘❌🤮🤮🤮

I made an appointment. I showed up for that appointment. I was told that I had canceled it. Despite having received a text reminder for said appointment less than two hours earlier. And an email reminder the day prior. And a confirmationemail on the day that I made it. I was told that if I was patient they would see if they could squeeze me in. I should have called and confirmed. I can not believe how little they value my time.

Excellent Experience!!! Again!! The office Manager was very informative on my daughter’s treatment! Also assisted me with a payment plan so that I don’t feel as overwhelmed! I was taken care of by Noel again, and she is amazing!! Great people, atmosphere is dope. I highly recommend!! My teenager loves it there! Make your appointment!!

Recently relocated to the area from the East Coast, and had been having a challenging time finding new Providers that are patient centric and actually took their patients under consideration.I found Dr. Young and Mint Dentistry via one carrier. Took the leap of faith for a consultation AND was BEYOND pleasantly surprised and appreciative. From the moment I entered the clinic through the time I departed, I was treated as a live person and not another number. I wasn't minimized or discounted as I've been since relocating to the state.Dr. Heston Young, and his team took the time to thoroughly walk through the recommendations, the order of presendence to execute the strategy for me to regain my smile and overall confidence.I would hands down recommend him, his partner and the staff for your dental care. Looking forward to a long relationship with a phenomenal team!Thank you for being available for new patients. I greatly appreciate you all for being exactly what I needed during my journey of healing and recovery!Kerry

Prompt & professional! The receptionist, Liz, was so accommodating for it being my first time. Also, my dentist answered any questions I had & listened to my concerns. Definitely recommend!Update: after being a patient for a few years, this office just likes to waste time. If you go in and need something added on, you have to make another appointment. They don’t have any cushion or wiggle room so working harder, not smarter. No consideration for work taken off/time and appointment time.

MINT Dentistry in the Heights demonstrated EXCELLENCE! My college daughter had wisdom teeth pulled in San Antonio, but was in Houston and in great pain. Even though she wasn't a regular patient, the office manager Patricia was so wonderful! They quickly got her a same day appointment, x-rays, the team provide excellent care, finding three infected areas and provided medicine. PLUS, Patricia promptly scheduled a follow-up teeth cleaning, where again, the team was very nice and did great work. Talk about spectacular customer service! I use both dental and ortho services and also am very pleased. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a horrible experience. I went in for just a regular check-up, and they refused to do what I asked because of the close picture of my teeth. They would do the service if i was willing to pay for usless appointments. Teeth get dirty within 6 months. That is why you clean them. When I confronted the dentist and front desk, they ran away from me. They are a corporation. They don't care about treating people. They care about their bottom line and sales.

Amazing team at Heights location Mint Dental, in particular the office manager Patricia. I was in horrible pain. I had been to 4 other dental offices over the last 2 months that dropped the ball and jerked me around. I needed an extraction and same day implant. It was literally on the last day of the year and my 100% insurance coverage with 3K in benefits was going to expire. Out of options I called Mint Dental from my insurance company list of providers even though the office wasn't near my home. When I first called I was placed on hold and I listened to the owners pre-recorded information regarding his own philosophy and the Mint slogan. It sounded too good to be true and I wondered after all my previous bad experiences with other places if this was even possible. Do they really care about me like he said they would? The person that took the call was the office manager Patricia. I explained my pain and my ongoing problems with other dental offices. I spoke of my urgent need, my predicament and most importantly the time constraint I was faced with. I was impressed with her patience and understanding, her authentic empathy and the way she immediately swung into action on my behalf. Hands down she is the best health advocate I've ever met. This office managers actions and obvious care were exactly as the owner described in his recording regarding the way his clinic treated their patients. Upon arrival for my appointment Patricia was the example and representative of everything the owner said Mint Dental was about. She was courteous and professional and thorough and she actually had to speak with my insurance company herself to verify my full coverage because their own in-house insurance advocate named Stormy refused to help Patricia help me. I couldnt help but overhear her uncaring dismissive remarks through the phone as I stood at the front desk because she was so loud. The office manager pleaded with her for help. Stormy said she would not call my insurance company to verify anything because it was too late (it wasnt) and I would have to pay the 3K out of pocket I wanted to see their dentist. I was crushed. I'm on disability and on limited income and I don’t have that kind of money and that's why I have insurance.I was so distraught and in pain. I was about to lose my 3K benefit that covered the procedure. Si the very caring kind office manager called my insurance company herself and fit me in that day and i had my procedure and it was covered 100%. Thank you Mint Dental. Not Stormy. Stormy needs to learn the culture and philosophy of the owners and how he cares about his patients and being different than all other dental offices.Thank you to the awesome doctor and most of all Patricia. You saved me!!!

I took my 5-year-old for a dental cleaning and check-up. Front desk staff is very nice, however the wait was a bit too long. We had a 4pm appointment and were not seen until almost 5pm. Dental Hygienist David was so very nice and patient with my son. They did identify 3 cavities which they could not/would not treat because of my son's age. We were referred to a Pediatric Dentist to fill his cavities. A bit of an annoyance considering they advertise that they treat patients as young as 6 months old.

I’ve been to this location twice for an Ortho appointment and had to wait over an HOUR to be seen. First time was busy but nobody checked in to let me know what the hold up was. The second time I came closer to opening (9am) for my retainers just to find out that they weren’t even there! I waited until 10:15. They offered to overnight them to me but I don’t ever want to go back to this location again.
