Everyone is very friendly there and the office is clean. They called me before the procedure to check if I had any questions, which was very thoughtful. I greatly appreciated that they offered light sedation for my gum graft surgery. It greatly reduced my anxiety & I was very relaxed during the 2 hour procedure. They gave me detailed written instructions for post-op which were extremely helpful. The doctor called me later in the evening after my surgery to check on me. I have been very pleased with my experience at University Periodontal Associates, Dr.Dennison and all his staff.

I was referred by my dentist. This is probably one of the best referrals of mi vida (my life for English speakers lol). Dr. Di Mateo is knowledgeable in his area of expertise, as everything was explained me thoroughly, patient (bc I'm crazy), professional (as I'm sure I tested that bc again, I'm crazy and I own it), and has excellent experience in his field. I had several visits before posting to make sure my experiences weren't anomolies, and they are not. Every member of his staff is absolutely BEAUTIFUL (mean that literally) and mirror him in everything I stated above (too lazy to repeat typing). I will never let another periodontist go ANY where near my mouth. I HIGHLY recommend him and his STAFF, and if I could find such competence in other areas of my life, I would be an eternally happy camper!!!

I live out of town and had a dental emergency. On December 13th a local dentist treated me with antibiotics and said I would need an extraction. They had an appointment on January 3rd foe the extraction.I called Dr. Dennison’s office to find out if I would need impressions first for an implant, and asked if they could they put me on a waiting list.Dr. Dennison’s wonderful staff grabbed the ball and ran with it. They contacted the local dentist , got my X-rays forwarded, sorted out my medications, and made an appointment for me in two days! And I was only asking to be put on a waiting list!Excellent dentist. Excellent and competent staff. Don’t know what I’ll do when Dr. Dennison retires. Some people should be cloned.

Dr Di Matteo has successfully worked on my tooth implants for the last one year starting in 2023. Two teeth are complete and we are on a slightly complicated third tooth. All along he has explained the procedure and answered my concerns. During the process he follows up to check on the progress regularly. He is confident as to what needs to be done. He is complimented by a friendly supporting staff.

I went for another teeth cleaning with their stellar hygienist, Cathy, who would make a fortune if she ever moved to Britain.However, when I got there, they told me, "Cathy is late." Cathy? Late????There was only one way to interpret this, so I said,"It can't be mine."
