I have been receiving orthodontic treatment from Dr. Matthew since May 2022. The staff is consistently courteous and proficient. The office environment is always immaculate. My braces are scheduled to be removed in the upcoming months, and I am confident that the results will be satisfactory. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

WOW is all I can say about my experience at Irving Orthodontist. I was originally looking for a place close to my house with decent reviews, but what I found was so much more than that.First of all, Dr. Matthew. He is not only extremely knowledgeable about orthodontics, he is very passionate about it too. He has a high standard of excellence as other reviews have mentioned and he is NOT here for "good enough." He noticed the details, he listens to any questions or concerns I had, and he wants to make it perfect. He is also very enthusiastic and just fun to be around.Second, one of the first things I noticed is the office staff. They are so friendly and helpful and they all just genuinely seem like they love working there. In the ~8 months or so I frequented the office, there seemed to be very little turnover and the place runs smoothly. Communication is solid so policies are clear and patients are not left in the dark.They were also very flexible and reasonable with treatment cost and appointments. I am an adult patient coming back to invisible aligners after having braces 20 years ago and they just made me feel welcome and worked with me on price so that I could have the best option of care instead of having to let price be a deciding factor.Overall it's just a great experience and I'd recommend it even if you're not nearby. Worth commuting for. If you are nearby, it's a no brainer! Thank you, Dr. Matthew, and the great staff!

Upon entering the office, everyone welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. Whenever I have an appointment, I hardly ever wait. It was a pleasure to be taken in right away and given a tour before having my picture taken. I was shown my pictures and explained why I needed braces, how it would be done, and how long it would take. It was a very smooth process and I am very pleased with my teeth. When it was time for my braces to come off they explained how to clean them and how to take extra care of my retainers. Thank you Dr Matthew and to the lovely ladies!

I came in 2020 and have always had the same type of experience. Excellent! The receptionists are kind and always were ready to help. The dental assistants were nice to me and helpful to each other. Dr.Matthew was always attentive with my needs as a patient. Great all around! The atmosphere is clean too. I got my braces off, my teeth are even more beautiful than before. Lastly, I had a root canal and needed to update my retainer to fit correctly. They got me in for a scan, and my new retainer was printed in 2 weeks. I will miss them! Highly recommend.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Matthews for more than two years now. I came to him in the thick of COVID to get my teeth fixed. Through inclement weather like snowmaggedon, grad school, and COVID, he and his staff were very communicative and flexible on rescheduling. The day I decided to go through with the braces, I’ll never forget how Dr. Matthews made me feel comfortable with something that had been bothering me for yearssssss. I liked how the staff knew my name when I would come in and how they were always very friendly. I came to this place because of the reviews and I’m glad that I am now contributing to the same thing that made me decide to go with this clinic.

Today is September 2nd and i just had my braces removed! My teeth look like angels and Santa’s helpers created them! They look so beautiful. I feel very happy! The whole staff was kind and very respectful throughout the process! Doctor Matthew is a man you will never forget. He’s very honest and realistic. I advise you do everything they ask of you. I did and they look wonderful. Today is almost the happiest day of my life…..EASILY!

I had a tremendous experience with traditional braces at Irving Orthodontics! The office is clean and organized with a family friendly atmosphere. The staff is warmhearted and look forward to helping achieve your dream smile with each appointment. Doctor Scofield is very honest and skilled and describes everything thoroughly and answers all questions with enthusiasm. Doctor Schofield has given great service at affordable rates over the past five years to my family members and I. My results are outstanding and recommend Irving Orthodontics as one of the best orthodontic options in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex!

My child had braces here. Staff is friendly but I told the Orthodontist I was not happy with my child's smile at the end. He put my child on Invisalign, if I wanted to go that route, I would have done it. I had braces as a kid (way back and didn't have to redo braces). I over heard him tell someone else about the Invisalign, common practice with this office. A waste of money go elsewhere.

Pros: Staff super friendly and provided exceptional customer service, the front desk gets 5 stars for sure!Cons: I waited for an hour just to do a consultation.I was told that it would be with the doctor and the billing coordinator, the orthodontist came in for legit a minute and then was gone.I really wanted to patronize with them but, when I went home and thought about it, I just didn’t like how rushed it seemed to be. So I just decided not to work with them.

This is the best orthodontist you will ever find! I recommend Dr. Matthews to anyone!Today I got my braces removed and my teeth look amazing! I feel grateful with Dr. Matthews and staff.The staff were always so friendly and quick and Dr. Matthews paid closed attention to detail.
