DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE! The front desk girl Bailey is very incompetent and violates HIPPA will look at you like you’re stupid and is very disrespectful! The manager I believe LaShanna is not far behind her she is rude and doesn’t care that her staff violates HIPPA. Adriann is super sweet and Hanania great but I won’t be back due to them violating my privacy. I will be reporting the front desk!

Back in March 2020 right when Covid19 started, I had a permanent top bridge that came out. It was hard finding a dentist. I finally found one, he was very rough and made me a top denture that was bigger than the teeth on my bridge. It hurt when I would eat. He wouldn't do anything about.So I basically having wore them in over a year.I have been trying to find a good dentist, well I found one. Dr Hanania at First Coast Smiles. He is very thorough, nice, caring and likes to joke around. Which made me very comfortable, because I am scared of dentist due to the fact of having some bad experiences.The whole team there are so friendly and caring. And Sarah was such a sweetheart. I am so glad I found them. Hopefully soon I will have my smile back, and eat things I've been missing..

First Coast Smiles in Jacksonville, FL is not only the most impressive dental office I have experienced in 40 years of visits to doctors’ offices, but it’s the best medical office overall I have come across. Yes, their patients do have very nice smiles from the great dental work performed, but the friendliness and smiles of every staff member are just as telling. It is obvious that Sarah at the front desk, dental assistant Julie and Gayle the dental hygienist love what they do and where they do it. If you are looking for a very pleasant and well run, highly-talented dental office, you’ve found it!

I'm a new patient at First Coast Smiles. Dr. Hanania and the staff were wonderful! I have a lot of anxiety about dentists, and they made sure I was comfortable at all times. Ms. Gail took many x-rays and cleaned my teeth professionally and with a wonderful positive attitude. The front staff was helpful from the moment I entered the office. I would recommend this dentist office to everyone!

Wonderful. Great attention to detail.Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Clean and brightly lit office. My visit was easy in and easy out. Ashley dental assistant was very thorough, kind and warm, explained step-by-step everything she doing. Made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I felt i was a partner with her -- not just a patient -- in my dental health and procedure. She answered all my questiond with a smile.

Dr. Schumacher and the team at First Coast Smiles are wonderful. My family has been seeing Dr. Schumacher for over 25 years and we always receive the absolute best care. I always feel very comforted and taken care of by this team. Dr. Schumacher is incredibly gentle, personable, and he has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend First Coast Smiles and Dr. Schumacher as one of the best dentists in Jacksonville.

From the texting with me to get in (booked out months) to the kindness and understanding of my fears, to the most gentle gum line experience ever then DR Schumacher being so knowledgeable and kind and professional. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY OTHER DENTIST! I WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED! After missing 6 appointments out of fear with different practices, this was where I was meant to be. Thank you to everyone here for treating a grown woman with kid gloves and giving me hope and positivity! Follow up went amazing and my tooth is so happy! Best dentist office ever!

What a great experience! I’ve always had trauma and bad experiences with the dentist and the ENTIRE staff made me feel so much better. They gave me tips and advice on how to take care of my teeth at home. They were gentle and made sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate them making me feel better about the dentist and not being so afraid for my next appointment!

Very friendly staff! I had not been to the dentist in years. So I was a bit nervous. But everyone treated me with respect and kindness. I unfortunately have to have my wisdom teeth taken out and they don’t do that at their office but they were able to send a referral to an oral surgeon. They dental hygienist even explained that I was welcome to go to another oral surgeon (especially if my insurance didn’t cover the one they referred me too). I would recommend this office to others.

Went to Dr. Schumacher for 25+ years but things have changed. The office cancelled my appointments two times. I called to reschedule again and was told it would be 3 months until they could see me. I told them I was concerned I may have a cavity and was experiencing some pain. The office manager said that didn't change the next availability.I told her it had been a year at that point since I had been seen due to their cancellations but she didn't care. This is what you get for loyalty (I, along with husband and two sons went here for so many years.)I moved to another dentist in Ortega - they were able to see me in a couple of days and the staff there was so helpful and responsive.Final thing that really bothered me was I saw an ad for 'accepting new patients' for Schumacher - honestly? You can't see a patient who needs help, yet you still want more patients?
