I'm not sure where to begin... the Whole Entire Team is PHENOMENAL...from the beginning to the end... Customer Service is on point. The Assistants are on point, ( Professional & Very Courteous ) Dr. Mitchell is very precise & detailed with every procedure. I knew exactly what my son was going to have done every step of the way... I honestly didn’t have a good experience with my child ! I’m giving it 2 stars for the sake of the cleanliness and they were able to get us in quickly for an appointment. I just couldn’t deal with Dr. Mitchell’s attitude ! I understand that some people are just “stern” and have an aggressive demeanor but if you want people to respect you, you also have to respect the Patients ! I rushed to my son’s appointment just to walk out feeling “belittled” in a way! Idk maybe he was just having a rough day, but first impressions is everything and I didn’t feel respected.

Absolutely the best from the moment you get an appointment until you leave the doors you are treated with kindness. Dr. Mitchell‘s chair side manner is very professional. He answers all of your questions without making you feel as though you know nothing staff is kind and friendly, very clean I wish all medical professionals would take his class on professional, I love it here !!!

Dr. Mitchell is compassionate as he is professional. He saw our son with no notice when we were on a 1200 mile road trip because he needed an expander key as we forgot it home. He was gracious & received us with the warmest hospitality. His demeanor reminds me of the physical from Little House on the Prarie. Always there for everyone... The medical profession can learn from him.

Dr. Mitchell is incredibly unprofessional. My treatment was suddenly stopped because he decided not to deal with my insurance anymore. With each visit I was greeted with nothing but a cold, dead look of disdain and an attitude that insinuated he didn't want me there. I took good care of my braces, yet was still ridiculed and prodded for the slightest mistakes by Dr. Mitchell. The lady in the front was also very rude. The only people in the office that actually seemed passionate about their work were the assistants, who Dr. Mitchell was also very cold towards. If medical-sadism is your thing, then this is your gig.

First off, I felt unwelcome walking in. The old lady with a rat tail at the front desk had a very cold tone. She told me to wear a mask, I didn’t have a mask with me so I asked if they provided a mask for their patients and she said no. She told me I have to leave and come back when I have a mask on. So I had to drive 15 minutes away to get a mask from CVS which made me late to my appointment and I got complained and annoyed looks by Dr. Mitchell once I get to see him.He threatened to not fix my braces because I was late, but it was not my fault and it was my first time. He scolded me so directly and blunt. I wanted to cry and they made me reschedule my appointment, but since he made me cry I’m never going back again and I am going to a different professional orthodontist who cares and make their patients feel welcomed.

For whatever reason my other review will not post, but to make a long story short my son has had these braces in his mouth for about two years with no maintenance and Dr. Mitchell refuses to take them off. He currently still has them on right now still this very day. No other dentist will touch another Dr. work so i guess the next thing will be civil court or call the insurance company and deny claims Im not sure but i will figure it out.

My daughter has been a patient for almost a year now & I am grateful to have found the team at Jacksonville Orthodontics. Dr. Mitchell is experienced, professional and knowledgeable. I am confident that she is getting the best care for this journey thru wearing braces. I appreciate the information given to help me learn more about the process. The website is also very informative & patient-friendly.

Dr. Mitchell is excellent!! The staff there are very professional and amazing. Your guarantee to receive the services your paying for. My first time going to Dr. Mitchell was back in 2000, when I was in high school. I stopped wearing my retainer and my teeth shifted. Went back to him again in 2021 and now my teeth are bone straight. More responsible now then back in 2000, so I’m definitely wearing my retainer. I will recommend this orthodontics to anyone!! 😁
