I was honestly shocked at how personable and professional everyone is. I drove an hour to get there. It’s ironic that in all my years I cannot ever remember leaving a dentist smiling- but I did here. The staff is honest, and they genuinely care for the whole person and not just their teeth, or wallet. Lots of dentists can get the job done, and there’s many who can’t buy charge you anyways. But these folks at Smiles by Shields are an oasis of quality and compassion in a desert of mediocrity and apathy. Thank you Jesus I found my Dentist!

Dr. Shields and her team are incredible. I’ve been seeing her for over 7 years and my teeth are so much healthier. She is kind, knowledgeable and thorough. The office is immaculate and very clean. Throughout the years I’ve been seen by most of the staff and they are all helpful, welcoming and make you feel at ease. Dental issues can sometimes be overwhelming but with Dr. Shields and her staff you know you are in the best hands. I highly recommend this practice!

Im not going to lie. It has been a while since I have been to the dentist. After Covid I was dealing with a little post Covid anxiety. Going to the dentist was not at the top of my list of things I needed to do. At my last doctor check up they suggested a holistic dentist.I did the research and decided on Dr Shields and I am so glad I did. From booking my appointment to my first visit and a cleaning with the dental hygnist it was just an all round great experience. Dr Shield's staff are not only professional and exceptional at what they do but, they are also kind and compassionate.Its my pleasure to be able to give a 5 star review to Smiles by Shields.Thank you for making me feel so cared for. My teeth look amazing and I am looking forward to my next visit 😃

I am a new patient and there was a mix-up with the appointment, which was entirely my fault and the front office staff were so accommodating and caring! I look forward to the excellent care I know I will receive from this office and the staff are AMAZING! They feel like family already. Also, as a Deaf person, they were not hesitant to provide an interpreter for my appointment which is a wonderful feeling to not have to constantly fight for my accommodation right, rather have them understand what I need. Thank you!

I broke my night guard at 5 AM on a Tuesday morning. My wife had an appointment with Dr. Shields that morning and carried my guard with her. They cleaned and repaired it while she was having her cleaning. She brought it home and I didn't miss a single night. I was actually expecting to be without it for 2 weeks until my next appointment. Really surprised at the response. Grateful, too.

We all heard of the fact that a Team can make or break you. The Team at Smiles By Shields definitely makes the whole office as one of the top dental care provider. They are professional, polite, and greet you with the biggest smiles you can imagine. The office is so serene and peaceful. Dr. Shields is a down to earth and straight forward doctor. She and her staff treated my wife for amalgam filling removal. She felt very comfortable with the entire process. She was treated with great care and respect which you would expect from true professionals. The entire staff is outstanding and I would highly recommend Dr. Shields and her practice, they are true professionals.

I had been having symptoms with dizziness, skin rash and inflammation. My primary care doctor sent me to a cardiologist, and then a neurologist. After expensive doctor bills, every test known to man, I was told "there was nothing wrong". A friend suggested having my mercury fillings checked, as I had several that were well over 8 years old. I saw Dr. Shields and cannot say enough to express my gratitude to her and her staff. Professional, knowledgeable and they follow covid guidelines so I felt comfortable being there. All staff wore mask, the appt. allowed for social distancing, and there were HEPA air purifiers in every room. Now I'm mercury free and my symptoms are almost completely gone. Thank you for giving me my life back! I would highly recommend.

I’ve been looking for a dentist for our family of 6 for a few years, failing miserably at 2 other dentist offices. Not here!! We have found our forever family dentist!! Our family tries to do everything as naturally as possible and avoid pharmaceuticals as much as possible. Dr. Shields stays incredibly current on homeopathic treatments and is knowledgeable on things that other dentists have chosen to not be open to. With information always changing, shouldn’t our dentists and doctors be open to that? She is! I can’t say enough about her! She’s far beyond the 5 out of 5 stars!!!
