My friends told me the first few days or a week after I got my braces that they would hurt. I was so relaxed during the placement of my braces that I almost fell asleep and I haven’t had any pain at all. And, my teeth started to straighten, noticeably, within the first 10 days. I went to my dentist yesterday, for the first time since getting my braces and they were so amazed at how quickly my teeth have begun to straighten. So far so good!Today my braces came off and the time went by SO quickly!The entire team with Dr. Vargas are super professional, personable and all around amazing! We give them 10 stars!!!

I’ve been terrified my whole life to get braces thinking it would be painful or a long drawn out process. I was wrong! The whole team here is absolutely the best. The process its self was so smooth and the assistant as well as the Dr were both very gentle. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my 1000 questions lol. Thank you to the whole Vargas Orthodontic team!

Dr. Vargas has beautiful offices and a lovely staff. I came in for a consultation regarding Invisalign as part of a more intricate mouth reconstruction. Dr Vargas’ nurse wanted to immediately take X-rays as well as photos. I explained that because I have had so many X-rays I most likely have what they need already. I further stated if after I explained to Dr Vargas what exactly I needed as per my prosthodontist, if Dr Vargas needed X-rays or photos I would be happy to have them done. Since Invisalign is the first step to a total mouth reconstruction I wanted to be sure that Dr Vargas would be part of the overall plan prior to taking photos. Dr Vargas came in and told me that I had told his nurse I was to have Invisalign and refused pictures without which he he said he couldn’t do an exam. He glared at me from the other side of the room and explained that he probably couldn’t do much for me since we don’t seem to be communicating well. I explained that no, there isn’t miscommunication, I simply don’t want X-rays I may not need and wanted to first understand if he could do what has been recommended to me. He made me incredibly uncomfortable and he was downright hostile to me because I simply wanted a conversation before undergoing X-rays and pictures. I have been the patient of many doctors over the years due to my birth defect. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable by any doctor ever. I have never felt the need to leave a bad review of a doctor and this is the first time I am doing so. Maybe Dr Vargas was having a bad day. I don’t know. But honestly I cannot recommend this doctor.
