I am a person that showed great neglect to themself through my lifetime. Hadn’t been to a dentist in over 2 1/2 decades. The shame I felt ,my anxiety and my excuses !! ,always kept me away. I’m glad I chose this office . The atmosphere is awesome , never felt judged in any kind of way. I recommend the staff,.Even though you know you should be blamed. They will never make you feel that in anyway.

Great Smiles of La Mesa is an extraordinary practice. The Staff are professional and extremely competent. When you first walk in the furniture and ambiance is welcoming and comforting. You will receive personalized service and respect guaranteed. As a patient surprisingly you will actually WANT to go back to the dentist. Great Smiles of La Mesa is The best dental practice I have had the pleasure to a patient of. I guarantee this is the dental office that you will want for the rest of your life.

If you need an outstanding dentist, this is your place. I’ve been a patient here for a few years now and they are awesome. The entire staff are tip top professionals. They play upbeat music in the office, and you get to watch Netflix during your appointment. Dr Johnson is a real pro and practices MODERN dentistry. The procedures you would consider as comfortable are performed with such care that appointments are a breeze.

Unlike any other dental experience. I booked the appointment online and someone from the office called me within 5 minutes. She was friendly and professional and walked me through what to expect on my first visits. When I walked into the office I was so impressed with the office decor and design and the staff was so welcoming. Dr. Johnson was kind, caring, informative and most of all sincere with me and the pain I was experiencing. I walked in with tears and anxiety and left feeling cared for. Highly recommended this office.

My husband went in for a routine dental cleaning. They then convinced him that he needed more than a cleaning and he wrote them a check for $2108.55. When he returned home I immediately contacted them and asked for a refund until we could get a second opinion. They refused. After many months they only would return $1678.84. We had a second dentist and a third opinion and they both said that there was nothing wrong with his front tooth. This all took place on January 27, 2022. They have refused to return the difference of $439.71. They are scamming seniors into paying for unnecessary dental work. Stay away from this dental office

I am so glad to have found a great dental office! I had always had a cleaning every 6 months for most of my life. I let it go for 18 months this time.Cleaning and exam were great. Doctor said I needed a crown on a cracked molar.The crown experience was also wonderful. Dr went out of her way to really numb my jaw even when it took multiple attempts to get enough numbing in place. Finished product is fabulous, looks fabulous, and feels like nothing was ever touched.Their front office staff is wonderful, they use current technology for appointment, scheduling, text messaging, etc. They followed up with me after the crown appointment to make sure I was feeling okay.... Overall, great experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Great Smiles. I came in on a Friday and they were playing upbeat music and the staff was all super friendly. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy being there, which made me feel more at ease. I was greeted with a cute welcome sign personalized with my name. The exams and X-rays were all explained and I was asked if I had questions the whole time throughout. By the time we came up with a treatment plan I knew I could trust this team of women and am looking forward to going back and allowing them to handle my dental care. Thanks for a great experience!

Great Smiles of La Mesa is a great dentist. They are clear from the beginning to end of my appointment. Both Maryana and Lorraine are great hygienists and are very gentle. I never really like going to the dentist and they completely changed my perspective. Everyone is so sweet, from Daisy Mae and Tiffany, they both are transparent with me. To the wonderful assistants. I love the music they play as it eases my anxiety, you can tell everyone loves working here! Thank you great smiles for the best experience ever, you guys are worth it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

6 STARS!! Great staff, everyone is very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, professional, and not to mention entertaining. The office itself it beautiful, cozy, and modern in both technology and design. I had three teeth pulled out (which went swimmingly), no pain, swelling, or soreness durring or after the procedure.I have never had a better experience at a dentist in the 31 years of my life.Thanks Great Smiles!
