I highly recommend Lamorinda Tooth Buds. We saw them after a traumatic experience at another local pediatric dentist and the visit was nothing short of amazing. They knew ahead of time my 6 year old was nervous and went above and beyond to put her at ease. She can’t wait to go back again! Thank you to the entire staff who welcomed and put my daughter at ease.

I just took my 3 year old son for his first dental checkup and it went so much better than I expected! My son hates brushing his teeth so I feared a visit to the dentist would be full of tears but the entire team there was so warm and inviting and knew exactly what to do and say to engage my son and make the whole experience fun and interactive. Highly recommend!

We love coming to our dentist appointments! The office is so clean, welcoming and festive. It’s always decorated for the holiday of the season + so many kid friendly items throughout. My daughter looks forward to going every 6 months (she’s 2.5!). They make the experience so fun, I wish I could be a patient too :) highly recommend! They also take insurance, which oddly, a lot of places nearby don’t. The staff is super friendly. Five stars all around!

Lamorinda Toothbuds is an incredibly kind, organized and happy pediatric dentist office. Dr. Roy and her wonderful staff have ameliorated my daughter’s doctor anxiety with their care and patience, Buddy the adorable therapy dog, and building meaningful relationships with us. I absolutely love this dental practice and HIGHLY recommend them!!

Dr. Roy blacklisted my family after I posted a negative review and even cancelled my child's appointment on a 3 hour notice. She did not proactively offer a refund for a procedure which had to be re-done by a new dentist due to her black-listing my family. I had to email and call her to ask for refund.A neighbor in Lafayette told me that Dr. Roy blacklisted her family too after they got into an argument. It seems that conflicts with patients is a recurring issue and the practice has a history of blacklisting patients.

I am very happy with the level of care my family was provided today. I have three kids and they were all a bit nervous about visiting a new dentist. From beginning to end of the appointments the service/care was exceptional. The receptionist was so patient and kind, the hygenist was caring and provided explanations, the dentist really walked us through treatment in detail. I can tell this is very caring environment and I’m here for it. Already have our next appointments scheduled. Thank you team!

First off every single person in the office was so sweet and made sure to somehow connect with my daughter. It was her first time going to the dentist. Desi was her hygienist and explained everything and let my daughter feel the instruments and told her what they did. The dentist was very sweet and gentle, I don't remember his name but he was great!

SO incredibly happy with and impressed by this team. My son is autistic and was struggling with some severe dentist anxiety the day of his appointment, despite a zero pressure walk through day a while back.The Lamorinda Tooth Buds team met him where he was, talked with him about his fears, slowed it all down to his pace, and made some great suggestions for keeping calm throughout — like using the lead x-ray vests like a weighted blanket, or holding/petting the clinic therapy pup. He was even able to stay mostly distracted by a favorite Disney flick of his choice playing overhead, right in his sightline.He made it through beautifully, honestly exceeding even what I was hoping he'd get through. I'm so grateful to Desi, his hygienist, and the whole team for their kindness and patience.

Dr. Barnali Roy and her team are AMAZING. My 4 year old daughter has been going to Dr. Roy for a year now and she's had a great experience every time. Recently, I took my 2.5 year old son for his first visit. Between Dr. Roy's ability to connect to kids and calm demeanor, to her lovely hygienist, and Buddy the therapy dog, the appointment was a success. In the end, there was nothing but smiles from both kids. I couldn't ask for more!
