Dental anything can be scary. I felt so relaxed and was taken care of with the utmost respect. They took my religious restrictions into account and still treated me amazing. The entire staff is kind, it is a no brainer if you need their type of services that they should be your choice. 5 stars is not enough for how amazing they all are to their clients!

Dr. Villanueva was very informative and caring. Before he performs anything he explains why and how he will do with the next thing. Knowing a head of the procedure made me very comfortable and at ease. After the extractions were complete, he then asked if I had any questions. He took his time with me and that was great! I will be sending friends and family if they need a periodontist!

This was my first visit at Periodontal Associates of Lafayette. I was treated by Dr. Villanueva and his assistant. All staff are amazing, kind, and very professional. They explained all the procedure and comforted me during the consultation. I was very nervous and anxious. I had gone to the Dr. Villanueva as, I was told that I needed implant as my back tooth was broken. Doctor V checked my X-rays and after examination I was told that if your regular dentist can make crown, you do not need implant. He showed me the 3D X-ray taken in detail. He even called Endodontics who work in the next office Dr. Benjamin I. Fischer for second opinion and in case if I needed root canal. He was correct in diagnosis. I now have permanent crown. I did not need root canal. It saved me from all the pain, complications and expense I would have gone through if implant was done which I really did not need. I am in late 70 with poor health conditions. I am truly grateful for his honesty and his knowledge.The staff here is super nice and friendly. I am glad I came here. Thank you everyone. In future if I need his services I will not consider someone else as I trust him whole heartedly. I never ever right review on web. This is my first review and pretty long!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Reef and his staff. I was extremely impressed, so much so I almost wish I had to go back! Every staff member I met was so nice and personable, as well as concerned about my comfort and making sure all my questions were answered. Dr. Reef was so thorough and explained everything he was doing. I would highly recommend this doctor/staff to anyone who is in need of periodontal care.

I have been going to PAL since 2016, and I am so grateful to be a patient here.  Everyone in the office has consistently been warm and welcoming.  Dr. Reef has always been kind, professional, and reassuring.  Sarah is the best hygienist I have ever had.  She makes the appointment seem quick, effortless, and painless, while still being attentive and thorough.  All of my concerns have been validated and addressed with care and compassion.  I always feel a huge relief after my visit, knowing that I will continue to receive the best care.  Thank you!

Dr. V (as I call him) Brooke & all the dental assistants and the receptionists are beyond exceptional. They thoroughly explain the procedure and answer any of your questions.Then the day of procedure your (comfort) care is their top priority“ before, during, and afterwards “ !!!!I had one implant put in and never walked out of their office in pain,during any of the process!!If you are anxious about getting anything done -this is a great team !!I’ll be going back, if I ever need anything else done😊

Dr Villanueva and his staff are wonderful!! I needed special care after developing a tooth infection only 6 weeks after undergoing joint replacement surgery. I was miserable and they took me in the next day. Everything that I was about to go through was thoroughly explained and I was put at ease. Dr Villanueva took several extra precautions to make sure the infection had minimal chance of spreading and left me virtually pain-free. Brigette was super friendly and comforting during the procedure. Everything went as smoothly as possible. From being greeted by Jocelyn and RaChelle scheduling my appointment, to Dr Villanueva and Brigette getting me through the procedure, I was taken care of in the best way possible! To top it off, I received a follow up call checking on how I was doing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! ~ One very happy customer

Absolutely top tier service! I cannot remember her name, but she was very conversant, and very engaged. I felt a very personal connection, rather than being a number. Additionally, the doctor, Dr. Villanueva was super cool, and extremely personable. We joked and laughed, just a great time (yes, at the dentist). Even the front desk staff, we joked and chatted which made the entire experience just that, a pleasant experience! Job well done - cheers all around!

I LOVE this office! Dr. Reef is extremely polite, kind, knowledgeable, and just all around the best periodontist ever. Can we just have all Drs be like him please?!Thank you for going above and beyond as well as the front office stuff including RaChelle, the hygienist Christina, and the DA who I forgot her name but had a great smile and super sweet.Office is very clean, great vibes, and overall can’t wait to start treatment here as soon as my braces come off.
