I am a true chicken when it comes to dentistry, but Dr. Schmidt and his staff always show caring and compassion, explaining as they go, and checking in frequently for feedback. I feel comfortable with them, and have been able to go forward with lasering and other serious periodontal care which will allow me to save my natural teeth. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Lake Forest Smiles has been our family dentistry for years now and we are extremely happy with them. Dr Campbell and Dr Schmidt are both very knowledgeable and caring. The practice uses all the highest technologies and is very clean. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. If you are looking for a new dentist or changing your existing dentist we highly recommend this practice.

It was my first time to go to Lake Forest Smiles. My appointment was about routine preventative teeth cleaning. I filled out my dental insurance information before my appointment. Hygienist did an intraoral full mouth images for me. No one discussed with me whether the insurance would cover it or not. When my teeth cleaning was done, I was told that I need to pay $579 upfront and insurance will reimburse the full amount later. I just received the letter from insurance. It states that insurance only covers $331. I need to pay $248. I never paid out of pocket for routine teeth cleaning before this time since my insurance covers routine preventative teeth cleaning. No other clinic told me to pay upfront. It isn't right for Lake Forest Smiles to ask me to pay upfront for my visit after they received my insurance information. What is the insurance for? Do NOT recommend Lake Forest Smiles at all!

Last night one of my teeth became loose and started to be painful.Very early today Friday I called the office and asked if Dr. David Schmidt could see me still today to diagnose what the problem was and how to solve it. Dr Schmidt kindly fitted me today and diagnosed the problem and recommended the solution which we are following to the letter. My wife and I are very lucky to have such an outstanding dentist that helps prevent issues, diagnoses the cause of problems and is exellent at solving them.

My family and I always experience excellent customer service and a quality dental experience at all of our appointments. Dr Schmidt takes his time with us and does excellent work. I personally have seen Dr Schmidt for TMJ issues and have been very happy with my results. Highly recommended Lake Forest Smiles, I feel so lucky to have found them for my dental and jaw issues.

I've been a "patient" of this dental practice for 30+ years and it has maintained the pinnacle of professionalism. The dentists are expert at their profession, the hygienists are simply the best and the assistants are the best. Everyone there is not only very professional but personable and friendly too, and it's their normal personalities. They all make a trip to the dentist a pleasure, not a "pain"!

This is the best dental clinic I’ve come across & I’ve been to many dentists! They are all so kind. From the minute you walk in to the clinic, to the moment you leave. They are all so friendly and warm & make you feel so comfortable and at ease, especially if you have dental anxiety! I saw Julia, the dental hygienist, who was so awesome 👏🏽 She was so detailed, smart, sweet and answered all of my questions & did my assessment test. She’s the best in the northshore area! I saw Dr. Schmidt and he assured me they would go in phases to help me with the issues I’m facing & I feel so hopeful and excited. They also have the latest technology, which I loved. I literally recommended them to my sister and good friend, as soon as I left the clinic, since I had such a good experience. I left feeling so happy and taken care of! Indefinitely recommend this place. Don’t think twice 🙏

I come from a generation where dental care was minimal ,where a dentist was hard to find because of WWII.I have been thankful for Lake Forest Smiles and most especially Dr. Campbell and all the assistances that help me retain the teeth I still have.The care I have experienced ,the control of pain,associated with some of my procedures has been great .I appreciate that I am always given the explanations of what needs to be done
