Metz Orthodontics

Our oldest started with Dr. Metz in 2017 and we've had at least one kiddo in braces with him ever since. This is not by default - many excellent orthodontists worth considering have moved into the area in the last 6 years. Dr. Metz and his staff have truly earned our business time and time again. He has an excellent chair-side manner - with kids and adults! His staff is incredible - genuinely caring, always smiling and professionally on point! Appointments are like clockwork. It's overall just a great experience. Most importantly, he cares about his work. Terrific results and after-care.

Can’t say enough positive things about this office. Heather was amazing and friendly and made us feel at home. Dr Metz was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. We recently moved here and Metz orthodontics was one the only office we contacted who was willing to take over treatment mid way and not make us pay for a whole new treatment plan. One of the best experiences with customer service I’ve had since coming to the state of Florida. Absolutely recommend this office. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Amazing staff that cares about the patient and selecting the best dental option for the patient, rather than the best (or most profitable) option for their business.We just moved to the area from Michigan and my son's retainer broke, so we were on the search for a replacement. We completed the complimentary consultation and rather than forcing us to choose a retainer replacement to make a quick sale, they informed us of all the options available, which including holding off on the retainer purchase since phase 2 of the braces could begin sooner than expected. We did end up moving forward with the replacement (simply due to the peace of mind on our end) and they were amazing with the impression (which my son hates and struggles with). Due to the caring, friendly, and knowledgeable staff, we plan to come back to Metz for my son's phase 2 braces.

Top notch service- most friendly staff ever from their front desk to the technicians to the Dr Metz himself. Idk if every ortho is all inclusive like this one but every time I bring my daughter I leave stunned that there’s no hidden bills, fees etc to follow. Everything financial is up front and straight forward and fair. They take excellent care of my child- keep us super informed- make both parent and patient feel totally comfortable. AND Pre- COVID they did things like private movie screenings at theaters just for their patients (free also) and more.. I can’t say enough good things about them. Specifically, Ada is usually our tech and we adore her. Lots of gems there but she is the sparkliest of all! If you need ortho work- go here. Period.

I have been going to Metz Orthodontics for 5 years. My daughter, first started at age 8 and now is 12 years old. We have never had a bad appointment or interaction, at this establishment. They take their time to answer all your questions and take your safety/health seriously, during these Covid times. You will be happy and feel safe. Great service 5 out of 5!

My children have been seeing Dr. Metz for the last 4 years. Both children have ankylosed teeth creating a very complex treatment approach lasting years. Dr. Metz is truly the best Orthodontist and words can't explain the gratitude my family has for his services recently provide at 9pm on a Saturday night. My daughter had a very bad accident and lost her front tooth. We were released by the hospital at 8pm after they placed the tooth back into the tooth socket. They explained the tooth most likely would fall out during the night. On our way out of hospital I said let me see if Dr. Metz has an emergency line to call for advice on securing tooth till we could get in to see him. I left a message and within 10 minutes my phone was ringing with Dr. Metz on the line. He took the time to hear the case and asked if I could meet him at office in 15 minutes to assess the tooth and secure the tooth if possible with braces. I was so appreciative he would drive out so late at night to help my daughter. This truly was over and beyond for a Doctor to accommodate us at 9pm on a Saturday. Dr. Metz was amazing and was able to immediately determine the corrective action plan needed for the teeth which was critical to be done to prevent further damage that was caused from the injury to surrounding teeth. Had he not come and fixed with securing teeth with braces we would have had major issues the next day. Dr. Metz immediately reached out to my daughters dentist that night to advise on the injury and coordinated the care plan for her. I am truly speechless and blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor. As a parent there is nothing worse to see your child hurt and not have control. Dr. Metz alleviated so much stress from this horrible accident. Dr. Metz puts his patients first and truly cares. His expertise in complex cases is outstanding and you will be in great hands!! Thank you Dr. Metz!!

Great Service, A+++ team!Very professional, warm welcome and the staff makes you feel like home from the first minute you get to the clinic. The patient representative Marwa is exceptional and she is excellent in explaining all the details in addition to a clear plan of the treatment. Dr Metz is an excellent orthodontics surgeon, very knowledgeable and he walks you through the treatment plan and gives you the option to choose which plan works for you . Metz Orthodontics is by far the best in the Tampa Bay Area. Highly recommend !!!

Amazing....my daughter had an awful underbite and Dr. Metz laid out her treatment plan with costs up front with zero surprises. During the process he and his team were professional, encouraging and just amazing. At the end....a beautiful smile better than I ever imagined. I would highly recommend Dr. Metz and all the incredible girls on his team.

My visits at Metz Orthodontics have been the sweetest experiences I've ever had at a dentist office. I first visited this office back in 2010 for Invisalign and lost contact with them shortly after. This year I decided to revisit getting Invisalign and had visited another orthodontist prior to this one. I was quoted an unreasonable price and decided to shop around. When I stumbled upon Metz, the receptionist I spoke with informed me I had last visited the office 8 years ago and did not need to go through the standard hassle that first time patients go through upon check in. When I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest of hellos including my first name and already I knew I was in good hands. The entire staff provides their patients with the utmost care and attention. I really appreciate Stella, the insurance coordinator, for working out the kinks with my insurance so that I wouldn't have to. If it weren't for her, I would not have received the coverage I needed for my Invisalign. Her diligence alone is the reason why I place full value and trust in Metz Orthdontics and will be a patient with them for many years. I'm so happy to be reunited with this place!

My experience was wonderful. I took my son for a consultation, I was please the way they treat us. Dr. John is a really humble person they orient you about the needs but don't push to you to buy the product and they do in house finance. And Mowra is a great coordinator that explain all the options step by step and they really make feel very welcome to the office. I am looking to do the procedure for my son very soon in this office.
