Leesburg Family Smiles

Updated dental cleaning and exam for daughter who last went to dentist 5 years ago. Completed very easily and efficiently by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have a large family and have used several Leesburg dentists over the last few decades, and have been a loyal client of Leesburg Family Smiles for more than the last decade because they have been the best!

When I decided to come to this Dentist, I was told my insurance was covered and I wouldn’t be paying anything. After my first visit, I got a bill for $180. When I called and asked why, I was told that this was a “Premier” dentist which I’m not covered for. I paid it and decided I would look for another dentist that was not “premier”. A few days ago I got a bill for a missed appointment. A missed appointment that I did not schedule, and never received a call, text, or email reminder, about the appointment. I have been trying to call since Tuesday about this, have left messages and have not had my calls answered or returned. I will no longer do any business with this company, and I suggest looking for somewhere else to go since they can’t answer or return a phone call.Also the $180 I paid for on the first visit, was for X-rays that the employee took incorrectly and I was told I would need to do X-rays again the next visit.

We have been under the care of Dr. Collazo for decades. He and his staff are attentive, courteous, efficient, and very professional. Well worth the drive to remain under their care.I just had a replacement of a broken crown. The work was done in a very professional manner and the results are excellent.

I am a new patient and went for the first time today. Could not be more impressed from start to finish. Very organized receptionist and unlike most places I didn’t have to wait after my appointment time. They have impressive state-of-the-art equipment and shared all the information with me so I could see it myself on the screens. Every person was extremely professional and friendly. I am so happy I found this place!

I don’t usually leave reviews. As a matter of fact, I believe this is only my second or third review ever, but I have to say that Leesburg Family Smiles is a great organization. I had moved away from Leesburg and tried another dentist for about two years for convenience and realized how much I missed, the personal service and warm atmosphere that you get from Dr.Collazo and all of his staff. Even though it is a little further drive for me now, I will never stray again from the best dentist and dental staff that I have experienced in my 55 years.

This practice has an A+ dental staff. From beginning to finish, they bring the best to their patients. I'm so glad I called their emergency phone number as they reassured me I was fine and an appointment was made--I've never called an emergency number before and was impressed they returned my call. Appointments were made to clean and evaluate my dental issue. After a thorough cleaning by the dental hygienist , Dr. Collazo diagnosed the issue I was having and follow-up was scheduled.

Very unhappy with the customer service (or lack there of). My appointment, which was scheduled 6 months in advance, had to be rescheduled because the office was going to be closed. I was only notified a few weeks prior. I can only schedule personal appointments for Fridays, so I had to schedule further out for their next a available friday. They still sent me a "would you recommend us to a friend" text the day of my original appointment. I was again called to reschedule my appointment a few weeks out. I felt the receptionist was unprofessional and didn't even apologize for me having to reschedule again. I understand things happen and schedules change however, do not feel like a valued client to this practice. This is poor customer service.
