Family Orthodontics - Lexington

They’re so professional and sweet and very family oriented. I had to bring all 3 of my kids to my last 2 appointments due to my husband being a truck driver and weren’t at home and not once did they look at my funny, say I couldn’t bring them or asked me to reschedule. They even interacted with my kids while I was getting what I need to be done in the chair, it’s the little things like that, that I appreciate dearly!

Every appointment (3 so far) has been a great experience. The first one was a consultation and while there someone canceled their appointment and the option to move forward and getting braces on right then instead of setting up a follow up appointment was given to me. Everyone is so nice. And unlike other medical appointments, they value your time. Our last appointment from check in to check out setting up the next appointment was a total of 23 minutes. They value my time, money, and my smile. I appreciate that type of experience.

My son's is very happy with his smile! Even with him breaking a few brackets and losing a retainer, Our experience was great with all the staff. If he had any problem they would try and work him in as soon as possible. Everyone was always nice and very professional. We have recommended this office to family and friends. I myself will be going just because of the experience we have had with my son.

Experience started out great. Towards the end of my treatment when I was told my next visit I’d be getting my braces off I expressed I didn’t like my bottom teeth and didn’t feel like they were straight yet and that I still have ‘gaps’ in my bite. It was brushed off as if they didn’t understand what I was talking about. Next visit, braces came off. Decided to go get a second opinion, other orthodontist sees what I’m talking about and said I need another year in braces. Not right that I had 3 years, & $5,000 with this place just to turn around and have to spend another few thousand at another place to finish what I already paid for. Nobody will return my calls.

They are very unprofessional when it comes to the billing department that handles the ins claims! They didn’t add my husbands ins (2nd ins) to the dental plan with my ins. Then when I upgraded my ins policy for better coverage & lower paymts for my daughters braces. They act like they don’t know what there doing! I’ve been calling & finally made a new claim March 29th.2022. & emailed Redem my all information To update my new ins. She sent back in the old information. These ppl don’t need there jobs if they don’t know what there doing with insurance companies! Telling me it’s my ins company BCBS. And for me to wait 30-45 days! For the BCBS but it’s not them! It’s the billing unprofessional department & the ppl in the office!! Everyone needs more training at family ortho!!!

The visits are always pleasant. Over a year now, we've seen Dr. Calcote and have been abundantly pleased. There's a noticeable improvement in my granddaughters teeth and we can tell she's moving forward to a beautiful smile.The staff are always kind and helpful, and the visits rarely ever take longer than 20 minutes. If the rating stars went to ten, you'd have our vote! Thank you for making our experience such a nice and rewarding one.

When I first started going I absolutely loved it everyone was great. Then coming down to the last 6 months it was night and day. I took my insurance information in so it could be filed it took 5 months of me calling non-stop and threatening to change to another Doctor before they would give me any answers other then I’ll have someone reach out to you but no one every did. I asked several times for the corporate office number but no one would give it, I was told they would reach out to the corporate office and have them call me. Over all I really wish I would have went with another Orthodontist in the area especially for the money that I spent.

This place is amaaazing. From the beginning when we came in and got the consultation to my son actually getting braces put on it has been such a pleasant experience. They allow you to make affordable payments which helps so much especially if you don’t have the money to drop at once on fixing your children’s smile :) I love it here and everyone is so helpful and friendly and is always there to answer any questions you may have and make it nothing less than a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t have it any other way just a amazing place all around.

This place is great! I absolutely love everything about it. The customer service is second to None! I know dealing with the public can be stressful at times but their representative, Redeem makes it looks easy. She is always understanding to our needs and such a people person. She has to loves what she does because it shows. I will definitely refer my friends and family here!

I have been a patient for over a year now. I am coming close to the end and almost ready to get my braces off. I am very pleased so far with the results. The staff is excellent and Dr Bob is the best. I am an adult who is on their second go around with braces. First time 35 years ago. I am excited to have my old smile back.
