It has been a great experience be a patient of Lindenhurst Orthodontics because they have treated me very well and both Dr. Mattew and the other doctors have done an excellent job. Dr. Nissenbaum’s office was a pleasure to work with. My daughter went to his office for braces and her teeth now look beautiful! Dr. Nissenbaum never tried to rush us into treatment and saw us many times until she was actually ready for the braces. He was very thorough and explained everything that needed to be done and made my daughter feel comfortable. Michele and Valeria are the best secretary at the dentists office. They are efficient, organized, and always willing to help. Michele is responsible for managing appointments and making sure that all patient records are up-to-date. Valeria, on the other hand, is in charge of answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling their inquiries.Together, Michele and Valeria make an excellent team. Been coming here since 2020 & it's been HORRIBLE dealing with the front desk. I heard prior to coming here that staff was rude because my relatives & close friends go there too ... didn't believe it till it happened to me. Michelle in specific seems to never want to be there as if labor is being forced upon her. I have anxiety so i'm naturally a nervous person, & seeing the way they operate makes me intimidated to even ask a question because i am afraid of the response i will receive.... & proven today after my visit as usual i went to MICHELLE to book my next app to get my braces REMOVED, she handed me the paper with options for retainers & gave me little to NO information on them, there were 3 pictures of different retainer options & pricing for each, when i proceeded to ask if i was going to be able to CHOOSE from one of the options she proceeded to give me an attitude & a very hostile answer, i ignored it & proceeded to ask my second question which was if i had to wear them to sleep or if i was able to take them out ... she proceeded again to give me a very hostile answer, "YOU HAVE TO WEAR THEM 24/7 ONLY TAKE THEM OUT TO EAT & DRINK" , i wanted to know specifically if i needed to take them out while sleeping due to the fact that my friend was told he should take them out when sleeping... so i proceeded to ask again if i shall take them out while i sleep, and she proceeded to again respond w the same hostility, i asked for the third & last time & as she proceeded to give me the same hostile answer Dr Matt also joined backing up her HOSTILE answer instead of giving me a simple yes or no. i am very disappointed in the treatment i've received since 2020 i payed out of pocket to be treated professionally & with respect NOT to be made out to feel DUMB for having concerns about MY TEETH which i am once again PAYING to be fixed . MICHELLE is going to put this place out of business along with Dr Matt for not addressing these issues that i am sure isn't the first time they happened. If you want to have an at least decent experience when coming here i recommend speaking to Valeria.

It is my pleasure to write about my experience of having braces for two years while being in the care of Dr. Nissenbaum and his entire team! I can’t say enough about how their level of care made both my daughter and I feel comfortable and safe! Safe because, I being a 51 year old woman, was very reluctant to begin the whole process and I wasn’t exactly sure how I’d hold up to the whole process!! Was it going to hurt? Will I be able to stand it? Will this actually work? What if my scraggly tooth on the bottom doesn’t move? All of these uncertainties filled my head but Dr. Nissenbaum reassured me from day one that all would be ok and he kept reassuring me every visit then on! And until the very day that he took my braces off - he was there to gently remind me that this will all be worth it in the end! And He was right!! It WAS!! I can’t believe what he did to my teeth!! And to my daughters teeth!! I told him I was going to cry and I did!! They looked even better than I could ever have imagined!! I’m no so grateful to him and his staff!! Just had a consultation with Dr. Matt and his staff to get ready for a 2nd round of braces (never wore my retainer), and everything was explained perfectly from the treatment plan to the finances. The staff behind the desk, as well as in the treatment area were great! Excited to start achieving the smile I always wanted! Highly recommend!

Our experience getting my daughter and my son‘s braces were amazing. The price was just right. The doctor is so kind and considerate. The ladies in the office were fantastic and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone! The office is immaculate which should be high priority in these times. Loved loved loved this place and everyone was very personable. My daughters teeth look absolutely gorgeous and it was such an easy process for me and my kids. Thank you so much Dr Nissenbaum and all the ladies there :)
